Edison pov: WARNING GRAPHIC
After I dropped Meredith back at my house after she got her things, I headed to the warehouse. The boys had already moved her dad there after breaking our agreement to never make contact with her again.
He thinks I'm fucking stupid.
I'll have to make sure everyone can partake. I know all of my men are ferrous looking at her file.
Years of physical abuse. Since she was fucking 16! What kind of man does that, let alone her father, a man meant to love and protect her?
This man, if you can even call him that, is going to regret ever hurting her. That's one thing I'm sure of.
I'm sure my men have the things they wish to do to him.
Someone so sweet and innocent didn't deserve what he did to her.
I'll make sure to make her feel safe and loved.
Hearing her screams wake me up in the middle of the night were screams of terror of the kind. I heard those sounds last night; those were the sounds he heard beating her. How could he live with himself?
All she wanted to do was protect his worthless, abusive ass.
He won't ever be a problem after today.
His torture won't be nearly long enough for what she's been through, but justice will be served.
I pull into the warehouse.
At least I knew she was safe. While we have her dad, Besides, nobody would ever dream of going to my house.
She is so independent and stubborn that she will have difficulty letting me take care of her or anyone else, for that matter. She is a closed book. She only told me one thing her dad did to her, and it made my blood boil. I know I wasn't the only one who tried not to let it show when she had her flashback from a beer bottle being slammed on the table.
She looked so scared; just seeing her face like that nearly broke me.
I park and see all my men's cars pulling in.
I unbuckled my seat belt and headed inside.
I already hear his muffled screams as I get closer to him.
My men were standing around, looking through her file one last time, determining how they would serve justice to him.
He was hog-tied and lying on the concrete. Alex says, "Well, I think we could all use a smoke break, boys. He passed around the box of cigarettes to everyone to get one. Then he was lighter too. Cigarette smoke begins to fill the air.
After a while, he says, "Do you want to know how Meredith felt when you burned her with your cigarettes? I'll show you." He says he is putting the cigarette out on his skin. His screams became music to my ears.
"Boys I still don't think he gets the picture. Jeremy, how many cigarette burns do you think she had?" Alex asks again, tossing the cigarette on the ground.
"I'm not sure, probably over 20 easily," Jeremy replied, walking over and putting his cigarette out on this skin the same way Alex did.
"Boys, if any of you ever feel like having a cigarette later, make sure to put it out on him. He has got a lot to catch up on." I say taking a long drag before repeating the same process.
His torso was bare, so we had a lot of skin to work with.
Each one of my men put their cigarettes on him.
Dexter walks up to him, crouching against his crying body.
"The fun has just begun. At one point, you broke her other arm. Both her arms have been broken by you. It's only fair that we do the same to you. He says he has swung the bat on his arms a few times.
Hearing him scream.
He stops.
Letting all the other men have their turn.
Walker kicks him. "You kicked on her back so hard that you bruised her kidneys. It seems like you deserve the same." He says he is harshly kicking him repeatedly in the back. He smirks. "I have to stop now and let someone else have their turn." He says he is walking away.
Conner walks up. To him. "Hum, you have two sides of ribs just like her. I'm going to break some of your ribs on this side and leave the other side for someone else." He tells him as he delivers harsh blows to his side.
"Jeremy, go ahead and give him a shot of mild adrenaline, just enough to keep him awake longer," I tell him.
"Happily boss." He says with a smirk that by doing what I asked for our torment can continue.
Tanner says, "Well, we wouldn't want your left side to get jealous, would we boys?" He says before turning his almost limp body over and kicking him over and over, his scream muffled by the gag.
Derek says, "Well, she had lots of brushing on her legs from you kicking her; it might as well mirror her injuries, just so you know what it was like." He says kicking his calves and thighs, his screams still haven't stopped.
Mason says, "Before I start, I'm going to take a smoke break. Anyone else wants to join me?" He asked, holding his box of cigarettes out.
Everyone else knew what he was trying to do, and I agreed with it. He deserved more burns before he died.
We all repeat the same process, and a couple of them just light it to put it out on his skin. Most smile at his muffled screams as he begs us to stop.
Mason says, "Oh yeah, where was I? I'm positive you have bruised her face up, probably more than just the one time we found out about it. She tried hiding it, protecting you. You didn't deserve it." He says that as he punches him a few times, blood comes out of his nose and mouth.
"I gotta stop now. Otherwise, you may pass out; that wouldn't be fair to my two friends that are left." He says he is wiping off his blood with a handkerchief and throwing it at him.
Liam says, "You are just a low life. You made your daughter terrified of you. Now you know what it's like to feel terrified.
"You choked your daughter to the point that the next day her voice was a horse. I think it's time you felt what it's like to feel your body slowly slipping before you." He says he begins choking him as he fights, slowly losing his strength. He holds it for a minute. Suddenly letting go, he coughs against the gag.
Brook says, "Apparently, you liked to kick her in the gut. Let's see if you like to be on the receiving end." He says, kicking him in the gut, a couple of guys are holding his limp body so Brooks can torment him.
"Cigarette, anyone?" I ask, pulling open the box of cigarettes. The box and lighter get passed around, everyone repeating the same process of burning his skin.
"You gave her a concussion once that we know of," I say, kicking him in the head harshly. Too bad we don't have all day." I say this before kicking all of his fresh injuries one more time.
His screams are slowly dying down.
I remove his gag.
"Any last words?" I ask him.
"Tell my daughter," he says before I punch him in the gut.
"You do not get to call her that," I say sternly and spitefully.
"Tell Meredith that I am sorry; please don't do this to me!" He begs and pleads.
I could tell he was lying, just like I could tell when Meredith lied.
I pull out my gun and kill him. Watching his body fall to the ground.
"Sweet karma, boys, don't you think?" I say this as we clean up our mess.
"Definitely"
"Yes"
And similar responses replied.
