Kisses

His grip on my jaw never wavers.
His mouth finally meets mine passionately, and his lips move against it. His kiss slowly became more and more hungry. I feel his tongue move against my bottom lip as though asking for entrance, which I deny.

Until his hand grabbed my bottom slightly rough, and then he took the opportunity to slide his tongue into my mouth. My hand softly rests against his face. As our tongues fight for dominance, he quickly wins.

He pulls away. Smirking.
"I would have never guessed that I was your second kiss," he says, leaning back as though nothing bad happened.

Despite my heart beating erratically,

Jeremy sets the contact on the table.
"Come here," he says, his voice good enough to be an audiobook.

I look at him, feeling all the eyes on me.
"Right now?" I ask, trying to keep my voice strong and saying that I'm not incredibly nervous.

"Yes," Jeremy says.

"Okay," I say, getting up. Making hesitant steps toward him. Before he pulls into his lap. His eyes not leaving the TV. Until I feel his lips against my ear, similar to Dexter's.

"You're supposed to say yes, sir, but you'll get it eventually," he says to me.

His voice made me want to squirm.
His suddenness in pulling me into his lap left me in an uncomfortable position.
I continue to deadly still.
His hands softly rubbed my thigh over my pants, and I could feel the warmth of his hand against my skin.

Before placing his hand on the back of my head and softly guiding me to him, he kisses my lips much more softly than the others, just passionately, as if holding onto the moment for as long as possible. His tongue guided on my bottom lip just as Decter did before him.

His smelled different than Dexter's, but the fragrance of his cologne still smelled wonderful.
His tongue practically forced itself into my mouth, deepening the kiss. His tongue fought for dominance, which I yet again lost.

He pulled away, slowly guiding me to his chest as I so easily inhaled his intoxicating scent.

"Are you just going to leave me hanging? Alex says as he leans toward Jeremy and me.

Jeremy looks down at me, softly pushing me off his chest.
Lightly tapping my buttocks.
"Go on," he says to me.

I slide my feet down and walk over to Alex until he pulls me to him. Similarly to Jeremy.

This time, his kisses seem more hungry than the rest. His tongue jewelry fell against my bottom lip, and I pulled away, startled.

He chuckles. "It's just a piercing," he says with amusement as he sticks his tongue out quickly.

Without waiting for a response, his lips found mine again, this time not asking for permission but repeating the same process as Dexter did.

Pulling away suddenly.
"For being an inexperienced kisser, you are pretty good." He states with a chuckle seeing my nervousness.

He narrated the moment then he gently pushed me against his chest while we were both watching TV in the dimly lit room filled with the scent of their cologne. Euphoric to my nose.

I yawned quietly.

The only person who noticed was Alex.
"Why don't you take a nap? Do you need a blanket?" he asked, his voice hushed.

"I'm okay," I say with a similarly hushed voice.

"Just close your eyes," he says, his voice slightly more stern.

As I draw nearer to him, I feel my energy waning; the medication I took seems to be intensifying my exhaustion.
I squinted my eyes briefly as I felt the warm embrace of a soft blanket being draped over my body by Edion. My body was instantly engulfed in warmth. His lips were placed on my forehead.

The TV plays softly in the background.
My eyelids fight sleep as I continue to watch TV.

"Meredith. Close your eyes. I don't want to tell you this again. Close your eyes; nobody is going to hurt you." Alex says it softly and sternly as he softly brushes my hair.

His body enveloped me in a gentle sway, like a comforting embrace. I closed my eyes and focused on the rhythmic thud of his heart reverberating against my ear, its steady beat creating a soothing and reassuring presence.
"That's it, Shh," he says, his voice just above a whisper. My eyes succumbed to sleep despite my attempt to keep them open.

I feel his callous fingers softly and tenderly trace my face.

I wasn't sure how long I had been asleep until I was softly shaken.

"Come on, Mer, it is about to be lunchtime," Alex says softly against my ear.

As I gently rub my eyes, my vision gradually adapts to the changing illumination around me. I stretch and glance downward, only to realize that I had unintentionally drifted off to sleep while resting my head on his chest.

"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry," I stammered in a flustered, soft tone as I tried to scramble off his lap.

"Hey, hey. I wanted you to sleep on my lap. No need to apologize," he says, stopping me. Kissing my forehead.

"I just figured you'd want to wake up a bit before you eat," he says with a small smile. His hair softly fell.
Down his face.

I nod, still trying to wake up. I noticed that Jermery was playing on his phone and Dexter was typing on his laptop. I didn't see Edison.

"Did you have a nice nap? bambina." Dexter asks, glancing up from his laptop.

{baby}

I feel my cheeks heat up.
"Yeah, I did," I say softly, embarrassed, as I have to fight the urge to avert my gaze from his.

"Good, Edison will be back in a few minutes. He went to go get dinner," Jeremy says, stopping. Scrolling on his phone and sliding it into his pocket.

He runs his hand over the bottom of his face.
"So we were talking and think it would be best for your phone to be taken at night, at least until you heal, to ensure you get enough sleep. So you can heal properly as well"
