"It's been three days and we still haven't decided what to do with our guest." Kate mumbled in between bites of breakfast.

"Nothing seems to be working just fine." Came Clarke's clipped response. Even after the heart to heart with Yelena she still simmered with rage whenever he was mentioned.

Yelena let them drone on while she sipped her coffee and willed her headache to go away. She fought over ideas of what to do with him since she had slammed his cell door. The risks of letting him go now included his knowledge of our location given his recapture, and his recapture was inevitable. This was not a target the organization would ignore until it blew over, no, people were already looking. The thoughts continued to spiral as they did every time she tried to figure out what to do with him. The coffee only burned her tongue as the headache contined to pound.

"I'll be in the training room." Yelena put her half empty cup down before escaping. As much as she cared for her team they could be overwhelming.

It wasn't long before the shadow of a person appeared behind her. Sonya placed her arms out, an attempt to get Yelena talking by pretending to spot her.

"I'm not much in the mood for conversation." Yelena huffed out.

"Good, because neither am I."

As they worked out in silence Yelena felt the tension in her body start to fade, Sonya's even breaths keeping her from falling back into her head until, "So care to share with the class?"

Of course she would ruin it, and it was only a matter of time before the tension shot back through Yelana's spine. "No."

Sonya took a deep breathe and stepped into Yelena's eyeline. "Not having all the answers doesn't make you a bad leader."

Yes it does.

Sonya didn't break eye contact as she continued, " It doesn't make you weak to need help."

Yes it does. Yelena breathed through her nose as she pushed the weights away with her legs.

"Your past doesn't make you a bad person."  Sonya's eyes held hope as they willed Yelena to open up. Hell, she'd settle for a slap at that point, just something. Yelena had been more than broody the past few days. She wouldn't talk to anyone in the compound outside of small talk and pleasantries, and Sonya hadn't seen anything that wasn't coffee pass her lips either.

Sonya knew Yelena was nearing a breaking point, but no one would ever see it. Yelena does her breaking internally as to not disturb the waters around her, she'd drown before calling for help.

Yelena's chest heaved as she stared back, but still refused to respond. Sure, Sonya had hit a few points but to think that was all that weighed on her almost make her chuckle. Yelena broke eye contact first turning to load the next machine.

Sonya sighed, "Fine, message received." She grabbed her water and started towards the exit, but before reaching the door she stopped and turned her head, "Clarke and Kate got into it again. Kate stormed off saying something about solitary confinement and cruel punishment. One could only guess where she took an extra plate of food."

The door echoed in Yelena's ears and she dropped her hands from the weighted bar in front of her to bring them up to push her stray hairs back. Obviously Sonya said that to get under her skin. Why?

She was probably under the impression Yelena had the same feelings as Clarke. She felt herself almost chuckle again, I wish I had the same feelings as Clarke.

Yelena grabbed her towel before heading back to the locker room. Sonya wanted her to go and stop Kate, so she turned up the heat in the shower and chose to do the opposite.
