Star Command
They are the deep space exploratory and defence service maintained by the United Federation of Planets. Its principal functions include the advancement of Federation knowledge about the galaxy and its inhabitants and knowledge of Wissenschaft (the systematic pursuit of all scholarly knowledge, not just science and technology). Star Command's ancillary duties included the defence of the Federation and the facilitation of Federation diplomacy.
NATO
They were formed in 1949 with the signing of the Washington Treaty, NATO is a security alliance of multiple countries from North America and Europe. NATO's fundamental goal is to safeguard the Allies' freedom and security by political and military means.
The Alpha Echo Galactic Protection Force
The A.E.G.P.F. is the agency that is responsible for making starships and deep space exploratory and defence service for Alpha Echo. Its principal functions include the advancement of knowledge about the galaxy and its inhabitants. Their ancillary duties included the defence of Alpha Echo and the facilitation of Alpha Echo diplomacy.
