Invisible.

No one ever noticed Leon.

In fact, if you were to ask someone what they thought about the boy, they would say something along the lines of; "Wait, who's Leon?"

The teachers forgot him during name call, the lunch ladies always think he's a new kid, every. Single. Time. Even the bullies looked over him. He didn't really mind though, being invisible. Well, okay, it was kind of tiring, he had to give up on the lunch ladies after the twentieth time attempting to jog their memory, and pairing up for group projects was a mess, and sometimes he secretly longed for a friend, someone other then his sis, that is. But don't tell anyone.

Don't get him wrong, he loves his little sister Nita, but she's popular. Kids are constantly following her around, begging for details on her most recent hunt, pushing Leon away from the only person at school who would be with him. Everyone was amazed at the little girl with such a big bear and an even bigger personality.

Leon used to be jealous of Nita (and maybe still is- just a little bit) but one day he found her up in a tree, hiding from all the people. Nita, who grew up in an isolated jungle wasn't used to her new popularity status and was extremely overwhelmed. He sat up there with her for hours as she cried and yelled and laughed. Mostly yelled. But that day Leon knew he didn't want to be popular, but... was it bad that he still wanted a friend?
