Chapter one. Buck

When i open my eyes and look next to me i see Eddie sleeping peacefully next to me i start thinking about how two years ago ago i was old Buck again in till Eddie got my head straight, figuratively of course. I moved in with Eddie officially last month I was here so much we figured it would just be easier. I know people think moving in with your partner when you are still in the boy/girlfriend phase is too early but me and Eddie have known each other so long we decided that me moving in would be what is best for us.

I get out of bed and walk into the kitchen to start making some breakfast, it's mine and Eddies off day so we can do whatever we want. I walk past Chris's empty room, since Chris decided to go live with his grandparents in Texas Eddie has left his room how it is. I know it hurts Eddie that Chris still hasn't came back home but I think he accepted Chris's decision.he still comes visits sometimes or we go down to Texas to visit and they still talk almost everyday. I still miss seeing the kid everyday though hearing his laugh and seeing his smile. But seeing his dad with a woman who looked exactly like his dead mom was probably really scaring for him so i understand.

As i mixed the waffle batter in the bowl i felt two hands slide around my waist connecting with each other on my stomach, and a warm soft chest pressing against my back.
"Good morning babe." I say
"Good morning. What are you making?" Eddie asks me
"Waffles."
I finish making breakfast while Eddie cleans the dishes as i go. Once i plated our food we sat down at the table and ate breakfast as we FaceTimes Chris and talked about the most recent fun events happing in our lives.

Once we got done eating our breakfast we got dressed and headed out the door, we decided we are going to the mall and get new outfits for a date night tonight. We both got a new shirt, Eddie went with a a dark red collared button down while i went with a navy blue polo. We left the store a we grabbed an ice cream to share before we went to the car.
"Wait Buck." Eddie says as we get to the car
"What?"
"We forgot pants." He says.
"Oh well, it wont matter at the end of the night anyways." I say to him with a smirk.
Eddie smiles looking at the ground then opening his car door and getting in.

When we get home i throw the new shirts in the wash so they will be clean for tonight.
"Did you see the storms we are supposed to get tomorrow?" Eddie asks me as i switched the clothes around
"No?" I say
"Yeah they are supposed to be really bad. High winds, lots of rain." Eddie tells me
"Well work is going to be fun." I respond
"Let's just enjoy tonight and worry about work tomorrow." Eddie says
"Agreed." We go into the living room and play some video games in till it's time to go to dinner.
I always sit on the floor in between Eddies legs with his arms around my neck with his controller, sometimes i mess him up on purpose so i win, he lets me do it.

I walked out into the living room where Eddie sat on the couch waiting for me. You would think Eddie would be the one who takes the longest to get ready but really it's me. I got to make sure my hair looks right on my head and that I smell good. When Eddie stands up my eyes widen and i get that feeling in my stomach from the first time we kissed. The shirt really shows his muscles and his pants fit right around his thighs.
"You look amazing." I say
"You do too." Eddie says he runs his finger along the edge of the bottom of my sleeve barely touching my skin, I get goosebumps.
"Well we gotta go don't want to be late." Eddie says as he walks towards the door.
"We don"t even have a reservation." I tell him as i check out his ass in his jeans, his ass is so plump i love using it as a pillow. Eddie doesn't like it though, sometimes he farts in my face without even telling me!

We arrive at the restaurant and get our table, we are sitting in a back corner not around a lot of people which i like. The waitress takes our drink order and we order an appetizer as well. I get my phone out to take a picture of Eddie, he looks so handsome i just have to capture it.
"What are you doing?" He asks furrowing his eyebrows together
"Taking your picture." I tell him
"Why?" He asks
"Because you're hot. Now stop making that face." I tell him
"What face?" He asks making an even goofier face. I laugh at him and take the picture anyways.
"You guys want me to take a picture of both of you?" A familiar voice asks.
When we look up we see Tommy. My smile from before went away instantly and my anxiety started taking over, my leg started to shake.
"We're good." Eddie answers, his hand goes on my knee underneath the table.
"I'm glad to see you Buck. It's ashamed on how we left things." Tommy says
"How we left things?" I ask. I was about to say some more stuff before our waiter appeared with our appetizer.
"Oh is joining you all?" She asks
"No he's not. He was just leaving." Eddie says. He's mad i can tell by the look on his face and the way he is talking.
"Have a nice date." Tommy says as he walks away back to his table. He's not seated close to us which is good but i guess he saw us when we came in.

After dinner we decided to go home, the little incident of bumping into Tommy, well him bumping into us kind of ruined the night.
"Buck." Eddie says closing the door. I turn around and i see him unbuttoning his shirt. I walk over to him and help him as he runs his fingers below my shirt pulling it up over my head. Once we were free of our shirts i saw Eddies chest fill with air as he took me in with his eyes, my hands made their way around his body as our mouths collided with one another. Eddies hand undid my button and zipper on my pants as we made our way to the bedroom. Eddie kicked the door shut with his foot as his pants fell to the ground, he stepped out for them as i fell backwards onto the bed. I feel up Eddies thighs as he sits on top of me our hands exploring each others bodies like we have never done this before.

I laid there in Eddies arms both of us catching our breaths as our skin sticks to each other from the sweat. After that i was no longer thinking about the incident at the restaurant. Eddie knew that it was on my mind the whole night in till now and he knew exactly how to make me forget about it. Me and Tommy broke up two years ago, almost three and it took me awhile to actually want to date again. Me and Tommy loved each other and i thought i had found the one but when i came home that night i realized that he wasn't with me for what i thought he was with me for.
"What are you thinking about Buck?" Eddie asks me
"Nothing." I tell him
"No, you're thinking about something." He says "it better not be Tommy, especially after we just had sex."
When i didn't say anything Eddie already knew what i was thinking about.
"I'm sorry." I tell him
"Don't be sorry Buck, I'm not mad at you. I'm mad at him for ruining our date night." Eddie says
"He ruined dinner. Not this." I say
"He's still undermining you." Eddie says
"I know."
"Don't let him Buck." Eddie says
"We have already had this conversation." I say not wanting to hear it again.
"Buck." Eddie says rubbing my hair.
"Really Eddie. I'm fine." I tell him
"Ok." We leave the conversation at that.

After cuddling we got in the shower together where we got a little more sweaty but at least we had water to rinse it off. We got our bags ready for work tomorrow and climbed in bed to cuddle and fall asleep for the night. We can't sleep together at the firehouse for obvious reasons so we always make sure to cuddle each other a lot on work nights since we work fourth-eight hour shifts, we sneak a kiss here and there though. We are lucky enough to be able to work the same shifts and work at the same firehouse while being together in a relationship, its a bit scary on calls but there isn't anything that would stop one of us from risking everything to save the other.
