Festa del Redentore; a Venetian annual festival, held on the third Sunday of July, commemorates the end of the plague in the 16th century, with spectacular fireworks display and a floating bridge of boats connecting the Giudecca Island to St. Mark's Square.

The festivities begin when a pontoon bridge is built across the Giudecca Canal, connecting the Giudecca island with the rest of Venice. This bridge allows thousands of people to walk across the canal and attend a special mass at the church of Il Redentore.

This festival is also significant to the Cassano Family.

And so, the whole family along with the sottocapos, underboss', Capo and his wife and all their families are gathered in one of the many villas but, this time in Venice where the function is held.

Currently, the whole family along with children are seated in the east wing garden where soon, the sky will be showcased by various colors of fireworks.

The garden is filled with fairy lights everywhere, and families are seated near the little tents and chairs accommodated. The sky is vividly clear, and the reflection of the lights falls on the water of the canal. A few boats can be seen from afar.

Cha Young is currently seated on a chair sack beside Vincenzo.

The whole day has been filled with meeting and greeting, getting acquainted and now the atmosphere of the garden is doing the perfect work of lulling her to sleep.

The faint night breeze is hitting her on her skin, and she shivers. She is dressed in a black gown which hugs her waist perfectly and displays the beauty of her collarbones and shoulders. Her hair is loose, and the fabric of the gown is not helping her with the chilly weather.

Another gust of wind blows, and she shivers again, she tries to rub her arms and sit more comfortably when she is suddenly enveloped by a coat. She looks over to see her husband draping his coat around her shoulders.

"You should've worn something warmer." He speaks slowly while withdrawing his hands.

"Well...beauty is pain, you need to go an extra mile." She looks ahead in front, as he is doing and enjoys how her body is finally in peace and protected from the cold breeze.

She also notices Vincenzo smiling.

Her eye lids are heavy, and she doesn't know she is dozing off slightly when the loud crack of fireworks in the sky startles her and her eyes burst open. Her body jolts and she quickly tugs at Vincenzo's arm in reflex.

He gently tugs her to his side and drapes an arm around her. She can hear the children clapping and the faint chatters of the family in the back.

Vincenzo envelops her in his arms, and she sighs, pleased by how warm he is.

She savors the view and the warmth radiating by him for a while and breathes in his cologne.

"Pretty, isn't it?" She murmurs, eyes slowly closing again.

Vincenzo looks down at her and smiles while humming, she looks...exquisite and beautiful.

He notices her snuggling closer to him and tightens his arms around her.

Once he can hear her faint snores near his chest.

He places a kiss atop her hair and continues to savor the view.

He silently thanks God and savors the domesticity while his blood rushes down his veins, flowing with love and affection.

That night is spent with his wife sleeping in his arms and the faint cheers and brightness of fireworks.
