So, there's a newbie in Vincenzo and Cha Young's circle.
Named Julia.
And the fact is that she's Vincenzo's cousin.
She lives in Malta with her parents and because it's vacation season, she came to visit her Uncle Fabio.
And, she hates to admit– Vincenzo too.
Now, Vincenzo is a very reserved and calm kind of guy.
In front of others, not her.
But it seems like Julia is an exception.
'Cause since she's been here, Vincenzo is very forthcoming, friendly, kind and all that crap.
And please-she's not jealous.
For what reason would she be?
That a woman is being extra comfortable with her man.
Oh no, that's nothing to be jealous of, is it now?
It is.
So, instead she acts quite unlike herself.
She sulks and pouts all day long.
Luca and her father are the first to notice.
Luca, the nice guy he is, tries to fix her mood and accompany her, even tries to trigger some kind of reaction or rage from her.
And her father—
"Nice view, isn't it?" He comments as he grins seeing her sulk, sitting by the window and watching how Vincenzo and all the others play badminton in the garden.
In short, how Julia and Vincenzo are having a heated match and everyone cheers and shouts.
She glares at her father who chuckles before sitting beside her.
"Why don't you have a match with Julia? A 1v1?" Yoo Chan tries to restore her mood and bring her wily and feisty nature back. He notices how she's been so gloomy after Julia's arrival.
Particularly, how Vincenzo has been treating her.
He sees her shake her head in denial, and rest her head on the window.
"Cha Young-ah.."
She looks and hums.
"Cha Young-ah.." Her father tries to provoke her.
"Ne, abeoji?" She looks at him, slightly annoyed and brows furrowed.
He smiles, there she is.
"She's a guest and Vincenzo is just being nice."
She scoffs in response and then rests her head against the window again, with force this time.
He worries she might have hit her head a little too hard in frustration.
"Go downstairs." He politely says to her.
She pouts, eyes glassy.
"No." She's stubborn, he forgot for a minute.
"Then, keep on watching him with her." He walks away, thinking space is what she needs the most right now after patting her shoulder softly.
He can feel her glaring at him but keeps walking towards the door.
He's suddenly reminded when she started going to school and on her first day came crying because a girl wanted to share her color pencils.
His child has never been good at sharing since kindergarten.
