Luca loves his goddaughter.

There is no second thought about it.

And now that there is a chance for him to spend a whole day, he won't miss this chance.

"Zio Luca!!" The little one cheered and ran straight to him.

His poor heart.

He deftly held the girl in his arms and gave her a kiss on her chubby cheek.

I didn't think I'd live the day.

Luca vividly remembers the day, the close family was to attend a party, apparently for a huge announcement.

That day, he could see his cognata and Capo extremely affectionate.

He observed how Vincenzo wouldn't let her take a step without him or his hand behind her back.

He knew something was off.

When Vincenzo announced the arrival of the successor of the Capo of Cassano Family, the whole family witnessed how Luca was choking tears.

Signorina Cassano had assigned him the task of finding a good wife and then entrusted him a huge responsibility and though his Capo was shooting daggers at him, he obeyed her.

He knew this conversation and order couldn't be meddled with.

Even the Capo couldn't intervene the orders of his beloved wife.

She is the Capo's Capo after all.

Looking back to the present, Vincenzo gives him a pat on his shoulder.

"What?" He scoffs at him.

"She is my daughter, Luca. You are underestimating her." Vincenzo pats his shoulder again.

His cognata hands him over a pink bunny bag.

"She wanted to play some games with you, so she brought them along." Cha Young smiles at him and hands him over the bag which tiny hands quickly take before his big hands can.

"And her mother is whom she resembles the most, by nature and by looks." Vincenzo says again to him, as a warning to back-off.

"Except for the eyes and smile." The bravery of him, really.

Vincenzo smiles at him, the one that conveys 'if you say so'

Luca smiles back, conveying 'with pleasure, capo'

Vincenzo steps back and slips his hand to his wife's back.

"Let's get going, cara."

Victoria squirms in Luca's hold and he immediately gets the signal she wants to get down.

The little girl makes their way to her parents, kisses them goodbye and soon, they both watch them leave.

"What should we start with?" He asks her.

She looks at him, eyes piercing his soul, smiling while hands are in search of something in the little bag.

With a little 'ta-da', she waves a paper which has scribbles and colorful stickers on it.

"I made a list!"

Luca laughs and extends his hand to her which she gladly takes.

"You've came prepared."

Of course, she did.

Who's daughter is she, after all?

Vincenzo Cassano's.
