The gnosis, or the girl that held the raven haired joy in her arms?

Diluc was held back by an invisible fatui farbinger, his claymore was split into pieces. The girl and the child was frozen inside an ice made by the female Harbinger who was beating up the archon for his gnosis.

"No!" He screamed, trying to break hold of the grip, "Shut up." One of the diplomats say to him. "I'll ask one more time, this child and your people, or your gnosis?" the womans hands gripped the bards collar with an agressive look on her face, filled with rage and desire.

"Venti, don't!" Diluc shouted, the knights didn't have any idea of what was happening, more or less they didn't care enough to bring back the guards in the cathedral.

but this would be a hard choice for Diluc, Would a god sacrifice their power for one person that cant to anything, or a person that cant do anything be sacrificed for the power of their archon.

His gaze softened at the sigh of your busted wrists with brown dots of needle scars, you were grey and pale in that ice, your hair was greasy, there were red surrounding your eyes while your legs were bruised.

He never wanted to come pass the day he would see you that vulnerable that he might get weak too, but instead it gave him motivation to fight-- but no matter how much he wanted to, he couldn't. The two fatui's hands were burning through his sleeves down to his wrists, he was pinned down the the ground.

Eversince you came back from Liyue, he knew your mission and how hard you worked to draw the fatui away from snezhnaya, He couldn't possibly let it go either knowing so well you worked hard for it, no matter how bad your consciousness is now.

What angered him most is that, the anemo archon being dumb to give up his gnosis instead of fighting them off. A strong breeze came from the west, sending him and the two guards back hitting the cathedral walls, Venti was on the floor, the glass of shattered ice scattered on the floor with the girl pale and cold, holding a child with raven hair.

He was frustrated, near to passing out even. he could go on a rampage on the fatui, but why couldn't he do it now?

He had so much questions.

Why did they need the gnosis for, and why did they have to bring [y/n] back to snezhnaya? who was that child she was holding?

it never occured to a day that diluc would ever find you holding a child nor have he thought of being a father; further questions from that, did you want him to be a father?

It was complicated for you to carry your last name and not being able to pass it.

It broke Diluc's heart just thinking about the burden your father made you feel, the weight on your shoulders. Considering his pity, he also wanted to marry you, but he was also the last of his clan.

Unless.. ?

He ran over to your body, shaking you awake, your skin was grey and cold, your eyes were twitching. Everything was a blur for diluc, he knew there were the Knights charging front, a nun taking care of Venti and the child.

Everything was slow, like the sound of the beeping line in the hospital once the patient passes away.

He was in a panic, his breathing was heavy. His brother had knealed down to on the other side with a concerned face, bringing up two fingers just on the side of her throat.

The blue haired boy leaned closer, his fingers opening her mouth, he put his ears close, finding signs of breathing.

No words was spoken at the moment of panick, the three injured citizens were sent to the clinic, word spread around mondstadt like wildfire.

Diluc's fists were clenched hard like a rock, he refused to let go of thr girls hand for a sign of warmth. He wanted to make her warm.

she had huge needle scars, fresh scars on her wrists, bruises and dirt all over her white patient dress.

The same day, he never left her side together with the child who was lying down on the other bed, making sure the both of them were safe.

The bard was given a home due to his rib injury by the knights themselfs, He wad glad it was over, yet guilty over the gnosis.
