Phoebe was gathering what little she had to start heading back to Alexandria, she had drifted from the plan getting The king back to the kingdom and she didn't regret it but now she just needed to get back on plan.
"Hey" she looked up and saw Jerry grinned at her but saw the moment he saw her bag and his smile slipped "Whatcha doing?"
"I'm leaving today, need to get things moving again" she shoved her shirt into her bag along with her freshly refilled flask.
"But..."
Phoebe sighed and looked up "Look Jerry, i know you suffered a huge loss and i am truly so very sorry. You promised Rick you'd be there and i know you might not be able too but i don't belong here and i never break my promises so i need to get to the meeting point"

Carl had been looking for that man at the pump station for a while now, he'd sneak out while people were busy and get back before anyone noticed, something about that man just made him want to help.
It was then that he'd found what seemed to be a trap set for walkers, a white trash bag tied to a tree surrounded by sharpened sticks just like they had back at Alexandria. One lone walker had already been caught by it, as he sat back and watched he saw the man he'd been looking for kill the walker.
"Hey" Carl called out and the mans head snapped up "It was my dad, there were warning shots above your head, he wasn't shooting at you before...I'm Carl" he slowly approached the clearly scared man.
"Siddiq" he replied looking around as if he was going to be attacked.
Carl held up the bag in his hands "Food and water"
"Why?"
"I guess you...You were talking about something your mom said, about helping people? And my mom told me you have to do what's right, it's hard to know what that is sometimes, but sometimes it's not" Carl carefully threw the bag towards the man who didn't look like he wanted to come closer.
Siddiq immediate tore the bag open and sucked down most of the water in one go before catching himself "Thanks"
"I'm glad i found you" Carl smiled, this was the best he'd felt in a long time.
"You were looking for me?"
"Yeah, yeah i scavenged the sardines, other stuff, me and my dad we're in a community" Carl watched Siddiq look up at him with almost a wistful expression, this was the right thing to do "I'm going to ask you a few questions, i'm going to need you to answer them honestly okay?"
"Okay" Siddiq nodded but still looked cautious.
"How many walkers have you killed?...I know it's hard to keep track"
"237"
"Really?" it wasn't the number that shocked Carl but mainly the fact that he even had an answer.
"Give or take a couple"
"How many people have you killed?"
"One"
"Why?"
"The dead tried to kill him but...They didn't"
Carl nodded, his aunt had taught him some ways to track if people were lying and while he wasn't great at it, it was obvious Siddiq wasn't lying "You're making walker traps is that how you killed so many?"
"Its...It's only a part of it. My mom thought and hoped that killing them would...Free their souls, you know? Maybe, maybe she was right" Siddiq looked at the walker he'd just killed.
