Nika's pov

"Kate please just tell me if she's okay" you beg

Azzi and Paige sitting on your bed beside you looking at you with worrying faces

You hear Kate sigh on the other side of the line

"Niks you can't just call my number Tyler needs time you know this" Kate says with concern laced In her voice

You bite your lip worried hating the way you reacted to Tyler

"Kate please just take care of her" you say quietly feeling defeated from Kate not budging

"You know I always take care of my friends Nika and you are my friend as well so please take care of yourself everything will work out she will be back in two days and than you can give Ty the apology and explanation she deserves" Kate says

You sniff feeling a tear roll down your cheek wiping it quickly before azzi or Paige can question

"Thank you Kate get some sleep I'm sorry for calling you" you say quietly

"Niks you can call me if you ever need me okay I'm still here for you I promise sleep tight" Kate says before hanging up the line going dead

You sit in your bed looking down and your hands as your vision blurs from tears spilling from your eyes

Paige pulls you in for a hug immediately seeing the shape you were in after the phone call

"Hey hey niks breath she's okay Ty deserves time and space just like you deserve that to" Paige says rubbing your back softly

Tyler's pov

When you wake up Kate is snoring asleep right behind you she's always been a snuggler

You pulled out your phone and snapped a picture of Kate sleeping to Claire she snapped back immediately after saving the snap in the chat

Next thing you know Claire is FaceTiming you

Her face pops up on the screen smiling from ear to ear

"Hello Ty Ty" Claire says happily

You laugh at how bubbly Claire is this early in the morning

"Hello Claire look at your girl" you whisper turning the camera to the snoring and sleeping Kate

"Wow Ty she is holding on to you real tight" Claire says laughing at you being stuck in bed because Kate won't let go of you

"She was up late so she deserves to get some sleep" you whisper

"Well she better wake up I'm gonna be up there in a couple minutes" Claire says before hanging up

You shake Kate softly trying to wake her before Claire comes bounding into her apartment

Kate begins to stir hiding her face in a pillow

Before you know it Claire is jumping on the bed bouncing Kate awake

"Claire why I'm sweeping" Kate whines grabbing onto Claire's waist burrowing her head into Claire's neck

"Hey you are okay my baby" Claire coes cradling Kate's head

Jada pops her head in the room laughing at the sight of you behind pinned down on the bed by a sleepy Kate and very awake Claire

"We'll love birds and third wheel Gabbie and Caitlin have finished cooking breakfast so come get some food it's gonna start getting cold and you don't want a mad Caitlin coming in here" Jada says laughing before walking off leaving you still captured by the two blondes

Kate suddenly hops off the bed running away from Claire racing to the kitchen for food not wanting to be the last one Claire following close behind Kate

"Hey Ty can you grab my phone off the charger and bring it to me" Kate yells from the kitchen

"Yeah I'm bringing it" you yell back getting up off the bed and walking over to the charger on the dresser grabbing Kate's phone when it pings showing a text message

And your heart stops when you read the contact

You walk into the kitchen in shock

Kate and Claire turn to you and look confused at the state of you Infront of them

"Ty hey what happened" Claire asked walking towards you concerned what caused your sudden mood swing

All the girls knew you would be an emotional wreck with your kinda break up with Nika

You pointed at Kate

"How could you" you say hurt evident in your voice

Kate looks shocked for a minute than realizes what happened

"Hey she called me I didn't reach out to her" Kate tries to reason walking towards you trying to wrap you in a hug

"Who called you Kate" Gabbie asked confused since her and Jada were asleep when it happened last night

"Nika called me she was worried about Tyler and I told her to give you space and time Ty I didn't tell her anything else" Kate says stepping towards you causing you to step back

"How does she even have your number I didn't know you knew Nika like that" you say confused and betrayed

"I told her she shouldn't have answered the call" Caitlin buds in from the stove

You turn to Caitlin shocked

"You knew too" you say feeling more betrayed

All the girls can see you are entering fight or flight mode and you always tend to run away from your problems

Claire wraps her arms around you gently stopping your running mind

"Okay let's go talk in Kate's room and work this out" Claire says gently guiding you back to Kate's bed she gently tucks you in the bed before sliding in next to you knowing you tend to run

Kate joins hall and sits on the end of the bed

"Nika and I have been friends for some years now but you are still one of my best friends she really cares about you and wants to fix it" Kate reasons

Claire is about to say something when she's interrupted by your phone ringing geno is calling

I know another cliff hanger kill me sorry this chapter took so long I've been so busy because I keep watching all of the Olympics and getting distracted from writing but hope everyone is having a good summer as it comes to the end!!
