It all went so incredibly fast. They had to leave now. Kyllian ran towards one of the cars. A heavy bag was slung over his shoulder and he held Ash's hand. They reached the pick up truck without much trouble from the approaching walkers.

"Ash, get inside," he said and pushed her towards the car door. She'd be safer in the cabin.

He turned back and threw his bag in the truck bed. Randall was right there doing the same. Ever since he'd been let out of the room he'd been a great help.

"Climb in the back," Kyllian told him.

"No, we had more bags inside." He shook his head. "I have to try and get them."

He shook his head, "no, get in. You won't make it back if you run to the house." He turned around to see how Ash was doing. Nausea hit him like a tidal wave, nearly knocking him off his feet. His sister wasn't there.

Randall noticed the clear shift in his stance and the horror painted his face. "What's wrong?"

"Ash is gone!" he panicked.

"I was right behind you. You left her..." He ran round the truck. "Here," he finished, unsteady. The girl wasn't there. "Where would she go?"

"She'd...She'd," he stammered. He looked back to the house.

He realized that in their panic and haste, they had forgotten her most precious possession. But of course Ash had not forgotten. There, right in between the walkers, she ran. She weaved through them like it was nothing. Ash had decided that she wouldn't leave without retrieving her teddy bear, the ones her brothers had gifted her on the day she was born. It was the last thing she had that reminded her of Levi.

"Ash, no!" Kyllian called after her, but Randall pulled him back from running into certain death.

Another scream ripped through the air. Patricia was being ripped apart by walkers. They tore at her and she went down screaming. Just barely Lori managed to pull Beth to safety.

"Help them into the truck," Kyllian ordered.

"No, you'll..." Randal wanted to protest but he was too slow. Kyllian had already started to run back to the house. Randall cursed, but did as he was told. He opened the door and looked to T-Dog. "Drive." He slammed the door shut and jumped into the truck bed as the truck started to roll into motion.

Kyllian ran fast, but the walkers made it difficult. There were too many of them and he knew one wrong move would see him meet the same fate as Patricia. It didn't matter. He'd rather die than fail Ash just as he had failed Levi.

He saw Ash run up the steps onto the porch and disappear into the house. He tried to run faster, but the walkers were too big of an obstacle. The sound they made was deafening. He didn't even notice the car pull in front of him. The front wheel nearly rolled over his foot and he crashed against the driver's side door. He jumped back and the door flew open.

"Ky, get in!" Leland yelled. His eyes were wide and he seemed out of breath.

"No, I have to get Ash! She-She..." Tears rolled down his cheeks freely. "I have to."

"No, get in," his voice went hoarse. He couldn't believe his own words. There were two choices he had; lose one child or lose the last remaining two.

Kylian didn't move. He couldn't anymore. A walker grabbed his shoulder and moved to bite him, but he still couldn't move. The backdoor flew open and a gunshot rang out. The walker was no more. The loud sound pumped more adrenaline into Kyllian's bloodstream and he could finally move again. He ran to the open door and got into the car as fast as possible.
