Third person pov

Atsushi started to use drugs to basically cope with his past, atsushi started with simple drugs at first but then it got more serious then it turned into addiction. Atsushi couldn't stop, he never try to stop anyway, the main drugs that atsushi was using was meth, Lucky enough atsushi wasn't that stupid, he never did it in the dorm so kyouka never noticed it and atsushi would do it when kyouka was sleeping so she never knew he was leaving the dorm at night.

Atsushi change very drastically, he lost lot of weight, atsushi was very skinny. The agency members thought that atsushi has a eating disorder but dazai just knew it was something else, he just knew. Dazai also did drug, when he was in the port mafia so he just has a feeling but he couldn't accuse atsushi so he just say nothing for a while, he just watched atsushi.

Tonight atsushi slowly left the dorms and started to walk in the sidewalk, before going on to a roof. Dazai was wide awake and heard atsushi leaving so he followed atsushi, dazai had caught atsushi right in the act. "Atsushi.." Dazai slowly said, atsushi eyes widened as he turned around to look at dazai, atsushi just broke down crying, sobbing his eyes out. Dazai just went to hug atsushi as atsushi sob into dazai chest, atsushi just sob for quite a while.

"Atsushi, you can't be doing drug, we're going to get you out okay?" Dazai softly said as he rub atsushi back, dazai felt terrible for a student, atsushi just said nothing and stare at the ground. After a few minutes, dazai took atsushi back to the dorm and he stayed with atsushi the whole time, he just held atsushi hand as atsushi slept. Dazai just couldn't believe his students was using drug, dazai has his suspicions but finding out it's true, just hits different.

Dazai knew he has to tell fukuzawa about this, dazai just sighed, he would do that tomorrow morning and will get atsushi help. Dazai didn't get any sleep at all, in the morning, he immediately contacted fukuzawa and told him everything. Fukuzawa was quite shocked, he didn't expect atsushi to be doing drugs, no one expects it. "I see, we will get atsushi help.." Fukuzawa said, dazai just nod and the phone call ended. Kyouka woke up, she was confused on why dazai was here but she didn't question it for some reason.

Atsushi has breakfast, dazai made sure he ate all of it, before going to the agency to talk to the president on what the next steps are. Fukuzawa was patient when talking, atsushi looked like he was going to have a another breakdown, dazai just rub atsushi back the whole time. Atsushi immediately started rehab, none of the agency member knew what happened, ranpo was curious but once he saw dazai glare at him, he knew he shouldn't asked or try to find out.

At first it was hard for atsushi, he kept relapsing many times but dazai was there the whole time. "Just take deep breath atsushi.." Dazai softly said, atsushi was just sobbing again, dazai just rub atsushi back. Fukuzawa was also there the whole time, he was going to be there for his employee. After a few months, atsushi hadn't had a relapse and didn't crave any drugs or anything like that. Both fukuzawa and dazai were very proud of atsushi, atsushi was getting back weight.

After a whole year, both fukuzawa and dazai celebrated, atsushi cried a lot, they got him a cake. "Thank you." Atsushi said, both dazai and Fukuzawa just smiled as atsushi enjoy his cake. " there's no need to thank us atsushi." Fukuzawa softly said, dazai just nod in agreement, atsushi was happily enjoying his cake.

Atsushi life was better without drug, the other agency member knew nothing and atsushi wanted it to stay that way.

(I didn't really know how people react or whatever when they're on drugs, I never did drug and you shouldn't)
