Third person pov

Atsushi was five years old, when he died, his death was accident. Atsushi didn't live in the orphanage but live with his parents and atsushi was playing like any normal kid. When someone came to assassinate his parents and they also killed atsushi because there could be no witnesses. Atsushi was laying on the ground, he just stare before close his eyes and letting the darkness take him. For some odd reason, the port mafia show up the nakajima house, mori just stare at atsushi. "Grab his body, we're taking him with us." Mori said as he walked away, the lower members of the port mafia didn't know what mori wanted with the body but they couldn't question the boss so they took the body.

Mori was never the person to do experiment, he did a few but this one was different from any other ones and there was chance that, it would fail. Mori was going to try and turn atsushi into a zombie, no one has ever done this. It took a months, mori did lot of research but there wasn't much, he could go off. After months, it was a success, atsushi was a zombie. "Can you hear me?" Mori asked as he stare at atsushi, atsushi just stare back, atsushi look dead, he technically died. "...yeah..who are you?" Atsushi asked, atsushi voice sounded emotionless, that didn't bother mori at all.

"I'm mori ougai, you can just call me mori though." Mori calmly said, atsushi just stare, atsushi didn't know what to say. "do you remember anything?" Mori asked, atsushi just shake his head, atsushi didn't remember anything, which mori expected but he just needed to ask to confirm. Mori did a few more tests and asked questions, after all of that, it was time for the other port mafia member to met atsushi. "This is atsushi." Mori said, everyone just looked at atsushi in confusion, this is the first time even hearing about atsushi.

"I'm sorry but why does he look dead?" Higuchi asked, almost everyone was wondering that and mori just chuckled. "Atsushi is a zombie, he was technically dead." Mori explained, honestly most of the port mafia member weren't surprised at this point, they couldn't question the boss so they just went with it. "Atsushi does have a rule in the port mafia, he will be delivering papers and stuff like that." Mori said, atsushi just stand there and stare the whole time and the port mafia member weren't surprised at all. they'll all figured, he would have some rule in the port mafia.

"Now atsushi may forget things so you can get mad at him and just remind him, if he forgets." Mori said, atsushi was basically dead in a way, he was a zombie so atsushi did have bad memories and obviously forget to things. "Mhm, alright..that easy.." Chuuya said, the others just nod or hum. Atsushi started to deliver papers to the port mafia members, it was actually very useful but it was a little annoying that atsushi forgot sometimes but they got used to it.

Kouyou and chuuya would always give atsushi head pat each time, it shows that they cared. Atsushi didn't really need to eat or anything like that, sometimes atsushi would get lollipop for his hard work. Kouyou would actually take atsushi shopping because she didn't want him not wearing disgusting clothes. Atsushi didn't really care what he wear so he was fine with kouyou picking out clothes. Atsushi mostly stays in the port mafia base so the armed detective agency knew nothing about atsushi.

The agency and port mafia were working together again, they decide to have a meeting to talk about what to do but when the agency got to the port mafia base, they didn't know where the meeting room was. Dazai knew but the port mafia base has probably been renovated so he doesn't remember where it is. "Who that?" Tanizaki asked as he pointed to atsushi, atsushi was slowly waking up to the agency, they wondered why a kid was in the port mafia base. "Are you the agency?" Atsushi asked, dazai just nod, the other just stay silent.

"Yes, that us." Fukuzawa said, atsushi just nod, everyone was pretty confused and worried because atsushi look dead. "Follow me, I'll show you to the meeting room." Atsushi said as he starts to walk away, the agency just look at each other and follow atsushi. It didn't take long to make it to the meeting room, all the port mafia member were already there and so was mori. "Ah,  thanks you atsushi. You did a good job." Mori said as he patted atsushi head and atsushi just stare before going to his sit.

The meeting started and everything went well but most of the agency member were curious and concerned about atsushi, yosano was the most concerned, atsushi look very young and she could imagine things and she just hope it didn't happen. Mori noticed that most of the agency member were looking at atsushi and mori just chuckled. "Ah, you must be curious about atsushi~?" Mori asked, he already knew that answer and dazai just nod, while the other said nothing. "Well, atsushi is technically dead, he's a zombie. I turn him into a zombie, that why he look dead and still look like a five years old, he died when he was five." Mori calmly explains, the port mafia already knew this so it wasn't a shocker to them.

"Huh!? Wait what!?" Dazai said as he look at mori then atsushi, this is the first time, the armed detective agency has ever seen a zombie before. "Holy shit." Kunikida said, kunikida never really cuss so he was pretty shocked. "What the fuck.." Yosano said, she was no expecting that, no one was and it was really weird and surprising. After a few minutes though, the whole agency calm down but was still in disbelief that there was a zombie in the room. "Wow..At least now we know why he looks so dead.." Ranpo said, few of the other nod in agreement, at least they know now.

Soon the meeting was over and the armed detective agency left the port mafia base. Atsushi still stay at the port mafia.
