(A idea from someone, I finally has some motivation and time to do this!)

Third person pov

Atsushi was the quiet kid, he was always very quiet at the orphanage, most kid just assume he was just shy and that what the other caregiver thought as well. Atsushi hates speaking though, atsushi would talk when he wanted to but no one can force him, even after threatening me he's still didn't talk. People found this very odd and rude for some odd reason but the reason is atsushi has very sensitive hearing and speaking just made it worse.

The caregiver didn't give one fuck about atsushi needed or what made him better. The orphanage was in the middle of a forest, it was isolated and they just had certain beliefs didn't believe in mental health and the thought atsushi was just crying for attention. Atsushi never got the help he really needed until he was 18 and kicked out of the orphanage. He was relieved but yokohama city was very loud, loud noises make atsushi ear bleeding. Atsushi hates it but it was better then being at the orphanage.

One day atsushi walking by the river, he's been homeless for a while and on this faithful day, he just so happens to met dazai trying to drown himself in a river. "Did you save me?" Dazai asked as he looked at atsushi, atsushi just nod and say nothing, atsushi still didn't like talking and dazai seem to noticed that. "It seems that you're homeless...well I can help you! After all I'm a detectives~" dazai said with a smile, atsushi flinched by the loud noise but atsushi has some hope.

Dazai just smirked and took atsushi directly to the armed detective agency building, kunikida was very angry and yelled at dazai, ignoring atsushi. Atsushi just covers his ears, they were bleeding from the loud noise, yosano noticed that and immediately stop kunikida from yelling. "Calm down kunikida." Yosano said in a serious voice as she walked up to atsushi, the other just stare and said nothing. "what's your name sweetie?" Yosano softly asked, atsushi just stare before looking down. "...a..atsushi.." Atsushi whisper, yosano just hum, she just smiled.

"can you let me check your ears? I'm a doctor and I been very gentle okay?" Yosano softly asked, atsushi just nod as he uncovers his ears, the other finally saw the blood, kunikida was surprised but kept his composure as yosano check atsushi ear. She was very gentle, atsushi just said nothing the whole time. "All done, now atsushi why dont you sit down on the couch and rest...we will get you some food.." Yosano said, atsushi just sit down on the couch and relaxes, the tanizaki siblings went to get the food, while the other talked.

"it's obvious the kid went through something, if I have to guess atsushi have some very sensitive hearing. I'll know more once I talk to him but for now we shouldn't yell and been very calm around him." Yosano explained, the other just nod in agreement, the knew yosano was telling the truth, she never really lie. "Poor kid.." Kunikida said, the tanizaki siblings got the food and gave it to atsushi and atsushi just ate it really fast, it was obvious, he hasn't eaten in days. "It looks like he is homeless.." Ranpo said as he sucked on his lollipop it was very obvious that atsushi was homeless because of his clothes being old and very dirty.

"I'll get more food.." Naomi said, junichiro just nod, he just waited for naomi to get back with more food for atsushi. Kunikida got atsushi a change of clothes, atsushi was now clean clothes, naomi got atsushi more food and atsushi ate all of that.

The next day, the armed detective agency just did there best to make atsushi more comfortable and yosano calmly talk to atsushi. Atsushi didn't really talk but he wrote everything down. "I see, don't worry sweetie, we are going to help you." Yosano softly said, Yosano was going to buy canceling headphones but she didn't have to because kenji already has some, kenji was very kind enough to give them to atsushi. "There you go!" Kenji said with a smiled, atsushi eyes widen, everything felt so much better and atsushi couldn't help but smile and cried a bit. "It okay!" Kenji said as he rub atsushi back, yosano just smiled and pat atsushi head.

"This is so wholesome.." Dazai said as he looked at kunikida, kunikida just say nothing but nod in agreement. It was very wholesome, no one could disagree with that. Atsushi just wrote on a note book that yosano got for him to talk and communicate, it says thanks you, kenji was just glad to help someone. "It no Problem, I'm glad to help!" Kenji said with a smiled, atsushi just nod and stare. Dazai just chuckled, kunikida just smiled, it was very tiny but it was still a smile. Ranpo noticed the tiny smile of kunikida face but say nothing and everyone just enjoy this wholesome moment.

Atsushi became a member of the armed detective agency, fukuzawa told atsushi that he didn't have to go on any missions unless he wanted too.
"Thanks you.." Atsushi softly whispers, fukuzawa just nod, smiling a bit, Atsushi was grateful, he mostly just stayed in the office, doing paperwork or helping around office. Atsushi always wore his canceling headphones and wrote a notebook to talk most time. No one in the armed detective agency mind it, it didn't matter and atsushi was still human.

Even when some clients that were old may have found it disrespectful, the armed detective agency defended atsushi and atsushi was just grateful for the agencies help. "Oh Atsushi~ I got you a present!" Dazai said with a smile, atsushi just stare looking surprised but open his presents, it was some stickers to decorate his canceling headphones or his notebook. "Thanks you.." Atsushi softly whispers as he bow a bit, dazai just sigh and pat atsushi head.

The agency love atsushi and it honestly would be very different if he wasn't around and they were glad, he was around. Atsushi felt like he belong, a place to call home for once in his life. Atsushi was love and care for.
