Third person pov
Atsushi is a normal highschool, atsushi mostly keeps to himself but he does have friends. Atsushi started to smoke around the middle school, atsushi mom was a smoker and people sometimes take after their parents. Atsushi started to drug, when dazai introduced it to him and atsushi became an addiction. Atsushi was self-harming himself for years, his home life isn't pretty.
Atsushi has been trying to stop, he realize he can't keep doing this but it very hard and he doesn't want to tell any adult so he has to deal with this on his own or so he thought. Atsushi friends obviously knew about what atsushi was doing, they were there to support him and help the best they could. "What if we do those things, that parents do, like when their child uses the bathroom for the first time and they get a reward." Tachihara suggested, everyone look at him like he crazy and weird, it wasn't a bad idea.
"Tachihara, you're fucking stupid but it isn't a bad idea.." Akutagawa said, tachihara just gasp, looking offended, atsushi just chuckled. "So we give a reward to atsushi each week that he doesn't smoke, do drug and hurt himself?" Chuuya asked, everyone nodded, that was the best solution they could come up with. "But what to we give ataushi as a award?" Dazai asked, atsushi just sit there, he didn't know what to say, he was glad that everyone wanted to help him. "Anything tiger theme.." Akutagawa said, atsushi just nod in agreement, atsushi love tiger and atsushi doesn't really have any hobbies yet.
For the first few weeks, atsushi kept relapsing, everyone didn't give up hope and finally atsushi made it to one week so he got a reward. "Thank you chuuya!!!" Atsushi said as he hold the tiger plushie, chuuya just smile, he was glad to see atsushi smiling. "Good job atsushi~!" Dazai said as he hug atsushi, akutagawa just say nothing but he did congratulate atsushi in private, akutagawa just doesn't like showing emotions. "congratulations." Tachihara said with a big smile, atsushi just giggled.
Soon it became two weeks and then more, atsushi life was getting better, his home life wasn't but he wasn't doing drug, smoking and self harming. Atsushi friends were with him the whole time.
