Azure Lion's suggestion took Y/N by surprise. The idea of her becoming the Jade Emperor seemed ludicrous, yet his words lingered in her mind. She shook her head, dismissing the thought. "Azure Lion, I appreciate your confidence in me, but I couldn't possibly take on such a responsibility," she insisted.
He chuckled softly. "You underestimate yourself, Y/N. Your wisdom and strength are unmatched. Besides, you have the personality of an emperor," he teased, a playful glint in his eyes.
Y/N couldn't help but smile at his words. Before she could respond, Azure Lion had another idea. "How about we take a trip to Flower Fruit Mountain?" he suggested.
Y/N hesitated. Flower Fruit Mountain was known as the domain of the mischievous Monkey King. She had heard tales of his antics and adventures, yet she found the prospect intriguing. "Isn't that where the troublemaker monkey lives?" she asked cautiously.
Azure Lion nodded. "Indeed, but he's more than that. He's a warrior who shares our ideals," he explained.
With a mixture of curiosity and caution, Y/N agreed to accompany Azure Lion to Flower Fruit Mountain. As they descended upon the mountain, they soon encountered Monkey King himself. Y/N was struck by his irreverent charm and quick wit, finding him surprisingly endearing.
Azure Lion and Monkey King recognized each other as kindred spirits, quickly forming a bond of brotherhood. They were joined by other formidable beings: the Demon Bull King, Macaque, Peng, and Yellowtusk. Together, they represented a diverse group united by their desire for change.
Amidst the camaraderie and shared purpose, Azure Lion turned to Y/N, taking her hand gently. "Y/N, would you consider joining our brotherhood?" he asked earnestly.
Y/N was taken aback. Azure Lion wanted her to join them? The idea both thrilled and troubled her deeply. She glanced towards the horizon, thinking of her duties and her bond with Nezha. "I... I can't abandon my responsibilities," she began hesitantly, her heart torn.
"I understand," Azure Lion replied softly, his gaze unwavering. "But would you consider aiding us from the shadows? Your guidance and support would mean everything to us."
Y/N's heart swelled with conflicting emotions. She wanted to say yes, to stand alongside these courageous beings who dared to challenge the status quo. Yet, her loyalty to her duties held her back. "I... I will help however I can," she finally said, her voice filled with determination.
Azure Lion smiled gratefully. "Thank you, Y/N. Your presence alone gives us hope."
