A noodle delivery boy turned reluctant hero, MK has taken up Wukong's mantle. Energetic, goofy, but full of heart, he's still learning what it means to be powerful. Meeting Y/N fascinates and intimidates him—she's beautiful, powerful, and full of mystery. He senses she's been through things he can't yet understand, but he wants to help however he can. He's the kind of person who reminds her of the light she once knew.

Brave, fiery, and endlessly loyal, Mei is a modern-day dragon rider with a passion for action and her friends. She's sharp-tongued and energetic, but deeply protective. Though wary of Y/N at first, she senses the sadness beneath her beauty and slowly begins to trust her. Mei is the type to challenge Y/N's more cryptic nature with direct, sincere energy.

Tang – The Historian and Self-Proclaimed Scholar

A drama queen and a Wukong fanboy to the core, Tang loves to talk—especially about legends. His endless knowledge makes him an unexpected resource for Y/N, who listens to his ramblings more seriously than most. He respects her, but also can't stop gushing whenever Wukong's name comes up. Still, his knowledge may help Y/N piece together the past.

Wukong's shadowed counterpart, Macaque is mysterious, suave, and always a little dangerous. He flirts with darkness but walks his own line. His interest in Y/N is unclear—is it curiosity, amusement, or something deeper? He's the only one who speaks to her like an equal, unafraid of her power or past. But can he be trusted? Y/N isn't sure... and that might be what keeps pulling her back.
