Jeo-gun raised his sword, blocking Woon-gi's spear that was directed at him. He grabbed another sickle on his waist and prepared to slice off Woon-gi.

Slash!

Thunk!

Tae Jin-soo appeared, guarding Woon-gi's waist from Jeo-gun with his sword. He grunted as he strengthened his Qi.

Woon-gi pulled his spear and smirked, pouring Qi on the tip of his spear. "Thanks!"

Implanting his foot on the ground, he thrust his spear with all his might, locking his eyes with Jeo-gun. "I will pierce your flesh thousands of times!"

Shoooooook!

Jeo-gun's lessened the grip on his sickle and put it back on his waist. 'Interesting.'

Tae Jin-soo, who was guarding Woon-gi's waist, smirked as Jeo-gun pulled back his sickle. 'Let's see how you avoid—'

The strength building up in his lower body is all coming to his arms, strengthening his grip. He steadied his breathing, focusing his Qi on the tip of his sword.

'This!'

He thrust the tip of his sword into Jeo-gun, aiming for his heart.

Tae Jin-soo's and Woon-gi's eyes are all locked into Jeo-gun's, both aiming their weapons at Jeo-gun's heart.

Shooooooook!

Jeo-gun smiled widely.

'Both aim for my heart. They're from different sects united by one goal; to kill me.'

'But.'

'This isn't enough.'

'They don't understand how grave this situation is. The problem with mercenaries is that they treat every fight as a job.'

A dark liquid formed on Jeo-gun's sword, emitting demonic energy. The sword that is still raised upwards conjured a liquid barrier in front of Jeo-gun.

Clang!

Tae Jin-soo's and Woon-gi's eyes widened. The liquid barrier Jeo-gun formed with his sword, hardened as their blade made contact with it. The force returned to their arms, making them flinch for a moment.

Woon-gi's hands trembled from the impact. He bit his lip as he observed the dark wall in front of him. 'Fuck!'

Tae Jin-soo remained stoic, the impact only strengthening his grip. 'This martial art...'

Dash!

He dashed to Jeo-gun's side, preparing to strike his waist. 'This must be...' His eyes widened in shock as Jeo-gun's eyes were locked with Tae Jin-soo's.

Jeo-gun twisted his body, and the wall of void dissipated in an instant. 'Every fight must be treated as life or death!'

Slash!

He aimed his strike at Tae Jin-soo's neck, avoiding him. 'Never underestimate your opponent!'

Clang!

The point of Woon-gi's spear blocked Jeo-gun's blade before it hit Tae Jin-soo. Woon-gi flicked his spear upwards with both of his hands, launching Jeo-gun's blade flying.

Tae Jin-soo gripped his sword as he aimed for Jeo-gun's waist. He embedded his feet on the ground and twisted his body, launching a slash.

"Die!"
