03 ━ fictional characters i'd marry in a heartbeat

saw skainatblida do this in her misc book and it gave me a good laugh, so i thought i'd do the same thing! she made this in a powerpoint version and it looked trés cool, but i am not as skilled in the formatting so we're making this a lot simpler. no one is ranked in any way in particular, and the number of pros/cons per character don't point to a ranking either, it's just what i could think of on the spot.

this is purely for fun, so don't take this too seriously (but also benedict bridgerton if you are free—)

JACK CALLAGHAN.
from while you were sleeping

PROS :

• he's a handyman, which is great! i'll leave all the house repairs to him, and he can make me antique furniture too.

• he clearly cares about his family. he was worried about leaving his dad's business in case it upset him, and he respected the "engagement" between his brother and lucy even though he fell for her.

• speaking of his family, they are so chaotic but it would be difficult not to love them!

• great taste in snow globes.

• bill pullman. that's it. that's the pro.

• feels real, somehow?? just compared to some glossy movies, i feel like jack is someone you could actually meet, you know? one of the reasons i love this movie (and him... teehee)

• side note: honestly, i could write a whole essay on why while you were sleeping is my favourite rom-com ever... maybe after my (inevitable) next re-watch this winter?

CONS :

• he jumps to conclusions before he has the full story, or he depends on hearsay, so someone could tell him my name was actually hilary and he'd come up to me like "what other lies have you been keeping from me, hilary?!"
