"Didn't you have class at 12:30?" Mano asked as they took off.

"Yeah"

"You only had one hour of class?" he continued after seeing that it was 1:30.

"Don't think about it" Ody replied, as Mano looked at him.

Did that mean he skipped his class to take him home?

A few minutes later, he checked the GPS in the car.

"Why are we passing through Pangrati?"

"You'll see" Ody said, stopping outside a pharmacy. "I live in Pangrati, and they know me here" he pointed to the pharmacy before unbuckling his seatbelt. "Don't leave" he looked at him meaningfully, knowing he could easily do so.

"And if I do?" Mano replied with a smirk as Ody got out of the car and locked the doors.

A smile played on Ody's lips as Mano watched him enter the pharmacy.

A little later, he saw him come out with a bag. Ody unlocked the car and got in.

"Since we don't know exactly what's wrong with you, because you won't see a doctor..." he looked at him sternly before continuing. "I got the basics. This is gel ointment for bruises and injuries. Apply it twice a day" he showed it to him.

"And the bandage will keep it in place. Now," he took out the ointment and opened it.

"Now what?"

"Because I don't quite trust that you'll do what I said..." he squeezed the tube onto his fingers, grabbing Mano's right hand and started applying the cream to his bruised wrist.

He looked him in the eyes while Ody focused on his hand, trying not to press too hard and cause pain.

"Don't cry, my little boy. It's just a small wound, it will heal" he said to the five-year-old boy with black hair, as she applied ointment to his scraped knee.

"You're strong, aren't you?"

"I-I am" the boy replied in his childish voice while crying.

"Good boy. You're the strongest kid in the world!"

"Mano?" Ody wondered as he looked up and saw him with teary eyes.

Mano blinked and pulled his hand back. "I'll do it myself" he turned almost completely away from Ody to hide his face.

Ody stood there, shocked, staring at him. He didn't know if he should ask or let him calm down. He didn't understand what had just happened.

"Drive" Mano murmured, and Ody put the ointment back in the bag, left it in the back seat, and started the car.

When they reached Mano's address, he seemed fine. Ody stopped outside his apartment building and looked at him intently.

"Don't look at me like that" Mano said, staring straight ahead.

"No, uh... the bag" Ody reached into the back and grabbed it.

"Apply the gel twice a day and..." he looked at the bandage.

Should he put it on him or not?

"Can I...?" he asked as Mano looked up, their eyes meeting.

Mano didn't speak, and since he didn't say no or curse at him, Ody took it as a yes.

He carefully wrapped the bandage around Mano's hand and he grimaced in pain at first. When he finished, he secured it with a clip.

Mano looked into his green eyes.

Ody fastened the clip and tightened it slightly to secure it when Mano flinched from the pain.
