Another day dawned, and Ody was at the university. The last class of the semester was tomorrow, and then exams were just around the corner.

"No way they came to campus, are you kidding me? Don't you remember how we destroyed them?" Steve said as they entered the building.

"Yeah, I think the same. Half of them looked like a total mess" Chris agreed.

"Not to mention the leader of this whole thing passed out from the beating Mano gave him"

"Dude, he must've hit him really hard"

"I would've done the same in his place. Hey, Ody, did you see Kash?" Steve pulled him into the conversation.

"Yeah... He was right in front of me"

"And?"

"What do you mean, 'and'? He'd been threatening him for so long. Mano couldn't do anything before because they would've come after me, but yesterday, he had him all to himself. He didn't hold back"

"Good for him. That asshole deserved it. But seriously, dude, why didn't you tell us anything all this time? What kind of friends are we?"

"Guys, I just..." Ody looked uncomfortable.

"Just what?"

"I... I was embarrassed to tell you I was being bullied. And I was scared they might do the same to you"

"Little Kash bullying me? Get real, man. I'd have knocked his head off" Steve said confidently.

"Sometimes you remind me of Mano. You two should get along better"

"Look, after what he did... He's cool. He came to tell me everything so we could help you" Steve said, and Ody stood there, thinking about everything Mano had done.

"Yeah..."

When their class ended, they made plans to play basketball in the afternoon.

"Invite Mano too" Chris told Ody, who glanced at Steve, and he nodded in agreement.

"Okay, see you this afternoon" Ody started heading toward the parking lot, but they followed him. "Where are you guys going?"

"We're walking you to your car"

"Come on, what could possibly---"

"Don't. Just walk" Steve interrupted. Once Ody got into his car, they waved goodbye and left.

When Ody got home, he opened his chat with Mano.

I was planning to hit the gym today

Come on it'll be fun. They probably want to tell you a few things too

Mano... Why are you pulling away? Just come hang out with us. We'll play basketball, talk about random stuff...
