Taylor's pov

Travis and I were out on a lovely date. We hadn't been on one in a while so it was nice to spend time with him. Ellie had told us that she was sleeping at a friend's house so we weren't in any rush to get home. We decided on going out for a few drinks together after dinner.

Once we arrived at the bar we had chosen Travis made his way to the bar to get us both drinks. We were in a quiet tucked away corner so that no one could recognise us and we had high security. I noticed a very familiar sounding voice and my eyes shot to the bar. I noticed a head of long brunette hair that fades to a blonde at the ends and I knew that hair all too well.

"Ellie?" I asked and she quickly turned to look at me. The guy next to her also turned around and she looked like a deer in the headlights. She had been caught out. She wasn't just staying at a friends house, it was her boyfriend and she had lied to me. She made her way over and introduced me to Billy. She had been spending a lot of time seeing "friends" recently so I guessed that they had been together.

They were also very close to each other, holding hands the entire time they stood by me and if they weren't holding hands his arm was around her waist. I decided to be the nice version of mama Tay Tay today instead of embarrassing them so I moved along and invited them to sit with us. "Double date!" I told them and Ellie's face went red from embarrassment.

They sat and had a couple of non-alcoholic drinks with us before deciding they wanted to go back to Billy's house. I smirked a little. "I'm sure I've got some condoms in my purse in case of emergencies." I whispered to Ellie while hugging her goodbye and she shot me the look of "not in front of Billy."

That only encouraged me more.

As they walked off I jumped up. "Oh and Ellie! I'll get you at 9am sharp. I'll bring the Plan B." I told her and her eyes widened. She hurried off with Billy and I turned to Travis. He chuckled a little and just got us some more drinks. We spent a while at the bar and out drinking and only got home in the early hours of the morning. I don't really think I slept much that night but I was at the pharmacy bright and early before heading to Billy's address.

Ellie came out of the door and just as she turned to say goodbye I saw Billy quickly kiss her. I felt like such a protective mom at that moment and I wanted to tell him to get off my daughter and let her still be my innocent teenager that I adopted not long ago but I wasn't like that. I wanted her to live the life she always wanted and if this is how it is then I wasn't going to stop her.

Ellie hopped in the car and I held up the pill. She rolled her eyes a little but held out her hand. I chucked and handed her a bottle of water and watched as she took it. At least she's not hiding anything. "I'm just trying to protect you sweetie, that's all. I'm too young to be a grandma." I told her and she nodded.

"I know. Thank you for not being mad at me about it." She told me and I smiled. How coal she think I would be mad? Travis maybe buy me no! "Hun, you're old enough to make these decisions. If you are ready to do that then it's totally fine, you don't have to lie and say you're going to a friend's house though. I'm not going to stop you from going to Billies house even if the thought of my daughter sleeping around with some guy that I have never even properly met does terrify me."

She nodded a little and hugged me. I hugged back before driving home. "Don't tell your dad what happened last night though! He might be a bit protective even if we only got you a few months ago, you're his first daughter." I warned and she nodded.

We both went inside and Travis was waiting by the door. "Taylor, don't act like you didn't go to the pharmacy this morning because I have your location. I know what Ellie was up to last night because you didn't go get birth control for yourself. You only went for one thing and that's the pill for the morning after. It could be for us but let's ke honest, I know you gave up on that over a year ago so the only other person who I could think may need it after last night would be... Ellie. Anyway I wanna know more about this guy before he becomes the father of my grandchild." He said. I laughed a little and Ellie was completely caught off guard.

Instead of pushing us away like I thought she would, she actually sat with us and told us more about Billy. He seemed like a lovely guy and I was glad that she was happy. It was nice to see that Travis didn't blow up at her either. He was reasonable and he really is a great father.
