Stormi

The next day I woke up pretty late, considering that we got drunk at the beach club the night before.

I went to the bathroom that belonged to my room to get a quick shower, before going downstairs for breakfast.

I brushed my wet hair and put on a white summer dress.

– Hi guys! – I sighed and waved at Max and Laura who were already eating cereal with milk by the table.

– Hi! How was your night? – Laura smiled at me softly, while putting a spoonful of cereal into her mouth.

– Good. How was yours? I bet you didn't even sleep in your own room, huh? – I wiggled my brows, while pouring some milk into the bowl with chocolate cereal.

Max coughed a little and Laura rolled her eyes. They were fucking last night. I was so sure of that. Laura's room was next to mine and Max's was opposite, and I swear, I've heard some wild noises from Max's room.

– Okayyyyy, so Romeo will be there in a minute – Max checked his phone with his cheeks being a little pink because of my words.

– Oh, great – I smiled and sat down by the table just in front of Laura, who was looking at me with a suspiciously nice smile.

Weird.

She was so weird lately, especially before this trip. I was thinking that it was because of Max and Romeo but she was even more weird than before I found out about them being with us on this vacation.

– Is anybody here?! – we heard Romeo's loud voice and a loud noise of slammed doors.

– Go straight and to the left! – Max yelled back, telling him where we were.

It was a big place so we were waiting for him for a few seconds in which my appetite decreased. I put the bowl of my cereal on the table and coughed a little. I didn't even notice that I straighten my back. I was just curious of him. We haven't seen each other for a while now because he had a girlfriend but they announced their break up recently.

What a perfect timing, huh?

Hi guys! – he smiled and put his suitcase aside. He looked at Max and Laura for a second but his eyes stayed at me. We were looking at each other with a little smile.

I couldn't help it. He was naturally a charming person.

– What the fuck? It was supposed to be a boys trip.

My smile disappeared as soon as my eyes traveled to the man standing next to Romeo. He was wearing a pair of black sunglasses on his nose, which by the way, had a scar because of his drunk actions at my house, a white shirt with gold necklace on his neck and a pair of white shorts. His curls were definitely curling that day.

Yeah, playboy.

– Okay, what the fuck is he doing here? – I asked Max who just smiled sheepishly.

– He's my best friend, of course he's here with me – Max answered with a shy shrug.

I sighed and closed my eyes for a second while massaging my temples.

I should've gone back to England yesterday.

– I'm going back to Monaco – Lando sighed with pure annoyance and turned around to walk outside with his suitcase.

– Finally a great idea came out of your mouth – I mumbled sarcastically and rolled my eyes.

– Stormi! What the fuck? – Laura whispered-yelled at me, leaning towards me.

I just shrugged, looking at my nails. Max got up to stop Lando but he was probably already by the doors. Romeo just stood there, looking at me with a frown on his face.

I really tried to like Lando. We had those times like our first meeting at the hotel bar in St Tropez or at the club in Monaco but... I just couldn't stand him. I don't even know why. He was so full of himself, an F1 driver, always drunk, always with a girl.

And he broke my glass. My favourite glass.

And if someone would saw me with him here, I'd definitely have to write continuation of my book. People would go crazy about that. Especially my manager. An author of a bestseller romance novel about an F1 driver, went on a trip to Greece with Lando Norris. She definitely wrote her way to the heart of her dream man!

He definitely wasn't my dream man. I mean, not anymore but I just knew people would ate that up.

– What's was that about? I've never saw him annoyed like that in my life – Romeo chuckled to lighten the atmosphere between me and Laura, who was looking at me with a death stare, and I looked at him with a half smile.

I should've known that they knew each other.

– Wow, he's not always like that? – I rolled my eyes.

– Well, no – Romeo shrugged. – I'll go unpack my things – he winked at me, probably letting me know that he'll take the room next to mine.

Laura followed him with her eyes as he went upstairs with his suitcase and then she looked at me.

– Why are you so mean to him? – she asked with a sigh.

She didn't know that he slept at my place. At least not from me. Maybe he told Max about it and Max told Laura? I don't know.

– Because he's a player. And I don't like players – I shrugged. She knew it was just an excuse. Romeo was a player also and I liked him either way.

– Bullshit – she rolled her eyes and got up to put her and Max's bowls into the dishwasher. – You're just scared to like him. He's a fun guy, Stormi. At least try to be nice to him this week. Please – she sighed and looked at me, almost begging.

I wanted to say "fine" but Max and Lando came back. Lando was walking behind Max like a lost child, mumbling something to him.

– I don't care, Lando! – Max rolled his eyes and then looked at me. – Get your shit together, you two. We're here to enjoy ourselves, not to argue all the time, fucking hell – he sighed, while shaking his head.

I didn't want to hear anything anymore so I got up and went upstairs to Romeo. He was laying on his bed with his phone in his hand while his suitcase was laying wide open on the floor.

– I missed you – he smiled when he noticed me standing by the door.

– Me too – I winked at him with a little smile and went to my room.
