Passengers, but Highschool

So I saw the movie Passengers with Chris Pratt and I had this though. What if it was a high school instead of traveling to Homestead two? However there is aliens as well. Now Jim is the only human and the only one on his ship. There is no sleeping pods or other humans on the ship but he does still meet Aurora. She is just a alien that he had to invite using a teleport device. It's a rough sketch but here is chapter to give you a small glimpse.

JIM POV:

I got dressed and looked in the mirror. I start class today. I woke up on the Avalon a week ago and took some time to explore and get use to ship life. I'm actually surprised that I haven't seen any other student here yet. Seven days? I should of ran into someone.

"No, jackets stupid" I said taking it off.

We have uniforms to wear as well. I held the jacket over my shoulder. It's the first day. I want to make a decent impression at least.

"No" I said taking the jacket off of my shoulder.

I put the jacket on.

"Just own it Jim. You got a cool jacket" I said.

I fixed up my hair and looked in the mirror. No jacket. I took the jacket off and grabbed my bag before leaving. I put the strap over my shoulder and left. I went to the learning hall and found room P33. I entered and was surprised the room was empty. Okay? Maybe I'm early. I looked around the room and a hologram came to life. I looked at the front of the room and saw a women.

"Welcome to Avalon High. Will you all please take your seats" said the hologram.

I looked around and sat in a desk. I put my bag on the floor.

"Welcome to another amazing year here at Avalon High. I will be your teacher Miss Lady" said the hologram.

Where are the other students? Does she not notice or was I late?

"You are the group of students and staff from Earth. And there is no planet quite like yours" said miss Lady.

I put my hand up.

"Earth is known as the home world" miss Lady started.

"Ya uh" I started to ask.

"Please hold all questions till the end please" said miss Lady.

"Okay" I said putting my hand down.

"Earth is a beautiful planet with many cultures, life, and wonders. But for the aliens it has always been off-limits and a closed system" said miss Lady.

"Sorry, where are the other students" I asked putting my hand up.

"We are all on the various ships of Avalon High" said miss Lady.

"But I'm the only student" I said.

"Actually there is a total of 258 staff members and 5,000 students" said miss Lady.

That doesn't make sense.

"So why am I alone then" I asked.

"The schools are separated by species. You are the first human student to attend Avalon High. Congradulations" said miss Lady.

Wait so, I'm the only one on this ship. I felt my world stop. I stood up.

"Jim" said the hologram.

I ran out of the room as the hologram said my name again.

"HELLO" I yelled as I ran.

"IS ANYONE THERE" I yelled as I ran.

I got in a elevator and went to the public halls. I got out of the elevator and looked around the place. It's empty.

"HELLO" I yelled.

There was no answer.

"Hello" said a voice.

I looked and saw the help machine. I ran over to it.

"I need to talk to someone" I said.

"Who, a teacher, nurse, your father, counselor" asked the robot.

"Uh" I said trying to think.

"Someone who can help me" I said.

"The help desk is on level 3" said the robot.

"Thank you" I said.

"Happy to help" said the robot as I ran off.

I ran to the third level and found dthe help desk. Finally. I ran in but the room was empty. There was a glowing button. It said push for assistance. I pushed the button and waited. No one is coming. I pushed it again and a hologram came up.

"Hello Jim. How can I help you" said the hologram as I jumped back.
