Chapter 10!
It All Fell Down
____________________
Robby had taken Sam and Bonnie to his father's place for the night, the exhaustion of the evening catching up with the two girls as they crashed in the guest room. They slept soundly, tangled in a blanket of much-needed rest—until the morning when a sharp sound of voices from the living room shattered the quiet.
"Sam?" Daniel's voice rang through the house, urgent and unmistakable. "Bonnie, are you here too?!"
Bonnie's eyes flew open, her heart pounding as she scrambled to grab her phone. The screen lit up with dozens of missed calls and frantic texts from her mother.
Before she could process it, another voice cut through the tension.
"What the hell is wrong with you?" Johnny snapped.
Bonnie and Sam exchanged wide-eyed looks. This was about to get messy.
The sound of fighting erupted from the living room—grunts, growls, and the unmistakable crash of furniture slamming against the floor.
Sam threw off the covers and swung her legs over the side of the bed. "What is going on out there?" She asked, her voice groggy but laced with concern.
Bonnie was already moving toward the door. "Only one way to find out."
The two girls rushed toward the commotion, the noise growing louder with every step. Bonnie and Sam barely had time to process what was happening before they found themselves in the middle of it.
Daniel and Johnny stood inches apart, both seething with anger. The TV lay shattered on the floor.
"Dad, stop!" Sam cried, rushing forward.
"Don't!" Robby shouted at the same time, pulling his father back.
Daniel's gaze snapped to his daughter, his expression shifting from anger to concern. "Sam. What happened? Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I... I'm fine."
"Why didn't you call or text us?" Daniel's voice hardened, anger creeping in. He turned to Bonnie, his frustration evident. "Do you have any idea how worried your mother has been? She's been calling me non-stop!"
Bonnie opened her mouth, ready to explain, but Robby spoke up first. "Mr. LaRusso, it was my fault. I brought them here."
"Wait, don't even start." Daniel spun toward Robby, fury flashing across his face. "I gave you a second chance. This whole thing was a mistake. You know, you wanna end up like him, that's up to you."
"All right, come on, Sam. Bonnie, you too. I'm taking you home," Daniel said, his voice final.
"Please, Dad," Sam pleaded.
"Sam, I don't wanna hear it. Let's go," Daniel snapped, his frustration evident.
The two girls stepped outside, Bonnie pausing for a moment. She glanced back one last time, her heart breaking as she caught sight of the defeated look on Robby's face. Before she could process the moment any further, Daniel slammed the door behind them, cutting off her view.

Genevieve had refused to let her daughter out of her sight until Monday morning, when school resumed. Even then, she refused to let her go without personally dropping her off at the entrance, making it clear that Bonnie was to come straight home after school.
With an exasperated sigh, Bonnie stepped out of the car, casually swinging her backpack over her shoulder. She headed toward her locker and began pulling out her textbooks.
