10- Last Night

LUCY POV

I knew where to party was happening, so I changed into my blue dress, covered my neck and wrist with make up and made my way to the club. I needed that drink.

I walked in and it wasn't too crowded, I thought I had the wrong place, until I got to the bar and Charles was there. "Are you following me?" He joked. "You wish!" I playfully pushed him.

"I'll pay for this ladies drinks all night." He said to the bar keeper who nodded. "Please don't make me regret this." He laughed. "Oh, I'm gonna."

He put his hand on my back and led me to the table. Carlos was there, he pulled me in for a hug. "I'm so glad you're here." He looked around. "Where's Max and Lando?"

"I don't know, they got mad and me and walked out when I told them about Dylan." He gave me a sorry look. "I'll speak with him." He walked outside to call someone, I went back to Charles who put his arm around me again and introduced me to everyone.

He offered me a dance, which I accepted, he led me to the floor. I was so lost in conversation, I didn't even see Lando and Max walk in, they looked pissed.

"Lucy? Did you hear me?" Charles's voice rang out. "Sorry, I got distracted, what were you saying?" "I said, you can stay with me and Carlos tonight, if you don't want to go back to Lando's room." This caught me off guard. "That's so sweet thank you." I gave him a hug.

I walked over to the bar, Charles went to tell Carlos. "Can I have another drink for me and Charles please. Oh and everyone else."

I walked over to the table with the drinks and could see Lando watching me. He was next to Carlos, I decided to ignore him.

"I got us drinks for us all!" I said. The drivers cheered. "as a thank you for letting me stay with you." I smiled, Lando scoffed. "You know when I opened a tab, it was for you not everyone else, mon cherie." Charles laughed. "Good job Landos paying for these ones then, as a thank you for taking me off his hands."

Lando stared at me in disbelief and went over to the bar to ask. I laughed. I leaned over to Charles, "I'm just going out for a cig." "I'll come with you." Max said.

"I'm sorry I hurt Lando." I said, taking a drag of my cig. Max laughed. "The only part of Lando you hurt, was his wallet. Mercedes are on top
brand double vodka shots." I laughed too.

"He's not a bad guy Lu. He just doesn't want to see you getting hurt, he cares for you." Max admitted, "we both do." He looked down, that must have been hard to admit.

We sat in silence whilst I finished my cig. "I'll be in, in a minute." Max nodded and walked inside. I took a deep breath and stood up, straightened my dress and walked back inside. Unaware I was being followed.
