MAX POV

The walk back to the club was a blur, everything Dylan said was going through my mind, the others daren't say anything. We all figured out what happened, but did Lando know? Was Lucy able to tell him? Poor Lucy, she's gonna be so scarred from this.

But all the stuff he said about the times he's gone into the bathroom, was it true? Was she really at such low points in her life she felt like that? I don't know why I felt so strongly to protect her, but I will make it my life's work to make sure she never feels like that ever again.

We walked back in the club, I scanned for Lucy and Lando but only found Lucy. I ran over to her and hugged her. "Moo, are you okay? I'm sorry. Where's Lando?" I had so many questions. She'd been crying, she hugged me back.

"Max! He said he'd gone to find you, he didn't want any of you doing anything stupid." She looked panicked. I just held her tighter.

"He's on his way back to the hotel now, he wants us to meet him there." Thank goodness for Carlos. "I'll come too, just to make sure Lando does okay." "Thank you George."

The air was cooler now, but the walk was nice, but we all looked like bodyguards around her so I don't think she felt the cold. "Charles, did you all catch him?" "Oui Mon Cherie. Rest assured, we gave him a warning, I don't think you'll have to see him ever again." She shot me a look, "Max you didn't kill him did you?"

I laughed, "why did you assume it was me that killed him." She stopped on her tracks. "YOU KILLED HIM?!" I held my hands up, "I didn't kill him." She was getting annoyed now. "Right someone better tell me who needs me as their alibi." "Moo, no one killed him." George said, she sighed with relief. He smirked, "atleast I don't think they did." She stared at him, he laughed.

"You guys aren't nearly half as funny as you think you are." She giggled. "Then why did you laugh?" She shoved my arm.

We got back to the hotel and all walked to landos room. When we walked in, the rest of Lucy's things were on the floor. "I got the rest of your stuff." He said, very nonchalant.

"Thank you Lando." She walked up and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "And thank you guys, for being my knights in skinny jeans." She went round and gave us all a kiss on our cheeks, but George's arm lingered a little longer than I liked. Broken only by his phone ringing which he went out to answer.

"I'm really sore so I'm gonna go jump in the bath and wash his touch off of me." "Well, we're gonna go now anyway." Charles said. "Please don't." She looked like she was going to cry. "Please? I want you all to stay tonight, you can have the bed I can have the floor."

"Lucy, we'll stay if you want, but you're not taking the floor, you have the bed and we'll sort the rest out." I said. "But please leave the door unlocked, just in case something happens to you." Lando said with a hint of fear in his voice. "Of course."

She disappeared into the bathroom, whilst we went onto the balcony to fill Lando in on what happened.
