LUCY POV

I'd never been in a private plane before, but George has style, this one even had some bedrooms on it and a little book shelf.

I was in awe, but I was in for a long flight, but I packed for it, George had some media to do before we left so we didn't get in the air until about 7pm which means we wouldn't touch down until 9am at the earliest.

I settled in a seat and grabbed a book, I was so invested, I didn't even realise George had sat next to me. "What you reading?" He seemed genuinely interested. "Dickens." I barely looked up from my book. "You like his books?" He was now sat listening intently. "I mean how can you not? He's such an amazing writer, you can see his words forming pictures when you read them...I was saving my money to buy a first edition, but Dylan said it was a stupid dream and I got the car instead...that he now has, along with my house and everything else I ever owned." I closed my book and looked at him.

"Why are you so interested in my misery Georgie?" He took my hand, "It's not misery love, it's a series of unfortunate events." He smiled. "Don't you use Lemony Snickett against me." I swatted him with the book and he laughed.

We landed in Melbourne and the first thing to hit me was the heat, I'd never felt anything like it. I'm glad I had my dress on. George put his hand on my waist to help me down the few steep steps.

He had a car waiting for him, of course he did. He started driving and drove us to what looked like a house. "This doesn't look like a hotel." I said. "We're not staying in a hotel, we're staying here for a week before we go to the hotel." He looked proud of himself.

The house was massive, I could see from the drive that it had a big pool too. I also noticed the familiar Ferrari and McLaren cars parked up. "You go in, I'll grab the bags." He said opening my door, "Are you sure? There's a lot of bags George, I've packed until the summer break." He opened the boot and he looked shocked. "Actually can you send Carlos out please." I laughed as I walked away.

We said our hellos and just relaxed after the long flights, nothing interested happened as we were all mainly sleeping.

The next morning, I woke to a familiar smell, PANCAKES! Carlos made the best pancakes.

I threw on a casual dress and walked downstairs, "Buenos Días Amor, hice panqueques."(good morning love, I made pancakes) He was so upbeat, "Deliciosa, no puedo esperar." (Yummy, I can't wait.) He looked at me shocked, "You speak Spanish?" I smiled. "I speak many languages."

He placed the pancakes in front of me, with some syrup. They were easily the best pancakes I've had in my life. Slowly, everyone else filtered in for the pancakes. We all just sat and chatted about our plans for the day, Max was going to see Daniel, Carlos and Charles had plans with Ferrari, so it would just be me, Lando and George, which I didn't mind.

We were walking down the streets of Melbourne when I saw the most amazing library, after not much persuading, they came in with me, there was more books than I'd seen in a life time. They both chuckled at my amazement, but I'd never seen anything more beautiful.

I took myself straight to the crime, horror and non fiction sections, I saw so many amazing books, I borrowed a pen and paper to write them all down so I could look for them after. I had a lot of about 15, George offered to take it for safe keeping, which I gladly accepted as my dress had no pockets.

They were so excited to show me Melbourne, I'd never been so far away from home before, but I was loving it. The whole feel was so different than England.

We spent the day on a private beach and eating at the nicest restaurants, I told them I didn't want to because I couldn't afford it, but they told me not to worry and it was my treat, they really were the nicest guys. I didn't take advantage though, I got the cheapest items on the menu. "So you'll run my tab up and tip 1k, but you won't get a burger instead of a salad?" I went red, I forgot about that. "Lu it's a joke, but I do wish you'd let us get you something more, I've barely seen you eat the entire time I've known you." He was at my side whispering.

"Are you okay? And please don't lie, just nod or shake your head." I didn't move for a few seconds, his eyes pleading with me, I shook my head. He nodded and stood up, "Come on let's her home George, Lucy hasn't tried the pool yet." George checked his phone, he's been attached to it all day, he nodded. "Yep that's fine with me." He put his hands on his knees and stood up.

The walk back was lovely, but Lando was now paying extra close attention to me, almost like he was trying to suss me out. "You know I've only just noticed, them shoes don't go with that outfit." He finally piped up. "Is that why you've just been staring at me?" I laughed "Yeah, I just couldn't put my finger on something. We'll have to get you a new wardrobe." What! "Woah Lando, you've barely known me 2 weeks, now you want to take me clothes shopping?" He thought for a second. "Yes." That was that, no follow up, no nothing.

George was so engrossed in his phone, he's barely spoke to me all day. "Georgie, you okay?" I tried pulling his attention from his phone. "Mhmm yep." Nothing. We were nearly back anyway. It was really bugging me though.

When we got back, George nearly knocked me and Lando over, he was sprinting into the house that quick. I looked around and Max was back, but the Ferraris weren't.

"So, we gonna check out the pool?" Lando asked, "Yes! But let me go get changed and we'll wait for Charles and Carlos." He kissed my head, "That sounds perfect to me, let me go make you something to eat." "Lan, you don't have to." I begged. "I want to, I want you to feel well enough, to get beaten in the pool." I smiled and held my hands up "Okay, your funeral. I'm just gonna look at them books then get changed."

I walked up to George's door, to get my note about the books, I raised my hand to knock but heard he was on the phone, I was going to walk away until I heard my name. So I decided to listen in.

"I don't know what to tell you, but that's the truth."

"I did sleep with her yes, but it was a mistake, a huge mistake, I regretted it as soon as I did."

"Please don't tell her what I've said, please don't tell Lucy. It will break her."

I ran to my room, tears streaming down my face, but I stopped before I got to my door, I didn't want to be alone right now.
