Lucy POV

Lando pissed me off, so much. He acts like he's done nothing wrong, technically he hasn't but it's the principle. You don't tell someone you want them and then go around kissing other people.

Charles was so lovely, he never pushed me for anything, when we went into my room, he did confess his feelings, but understood that I wasn't in a place to make a decision, I also didn't want to hurt Max. I went out for some air, someone needed an answer, so I went to Lando first, I called him and it rang, he left an hour ago so I'd be surprised if he wasn't asleep.

It only rang a few times before he answered. "Lando?" I said, so he knew it was me, "Sorry, he's just gone to sleep, can I take a message?" It was a woman's voice, one I hadn't heard before but had an accent. "Magui? I'm assuming." I hid my irritation. "Yeah, who's this?" He must have deleted my number. "Just pass him my message he'll know who it is." "Okay and what's the message?" I let my frustration out as Charles touched my shoulder. "Tell him, next time he wants to sleep with a home wrecker, to not let it be a blonde slag, desperate to stay relevant." I ended the call and turned into Charles. "Hey, don't cry, I've got you." "I know, and I have an answer to your question, but let me find Max first."

Charles took me inside, and lead me to Max. "Hey Lucy, what's up?" He smiled and ushered me to sit with him. I gave him the basic run down of what happened with Lando, up to the phone call. "But, I wanted to come here to let you know, Charles asked me out earlier and I'm going to say yes, I know how you feel, but I wanted you to hear it from me." He just smiled. "You deserve to be happy Lucy, I've seen how he treats you and I really appreciate you telling me, I'll always love you, but I won't stop you." I sighed with relief. "That means so much to me Max, I do love you too and I'd never want to lose you." He kissed my forehead, "that'll never happen."

I stood up and went to find Charles, he was with Carlos, I put my hands on his eyes from behind, "guess who" he turned and smiled "I'd know you anywhere. You got an answer for me?" He looked so happy, "I do and I'm sorry," I paused, his face dropped "cause you're gonna have a hard time planning a good date!" I laughed. "Really?" He beamed. "Really, really!" He picked me up and spun me around, he gave me the biggest kiss I've ever had, there was a few flashes but we didn't care. The drivers cheered. They all looked genuinely happy for us. Even George.

I danced the rest of the night with Charles, it was getting late so we all walked to the hotel together. We went to my room which was now crowded, with Daniel joining us 5. "I'm gonna see if it's front page yet." He was always so happy, he mirrored his phone to the TV and opened Instagram, it was the first post, I blushed. "That picture is quite sweet actually." Max said. "Plus it's already got lots of likes." Daniel zoomed in on the likes. "Oh...Lando liked it." George said. "So much for being asleep." Max laughed.

There was a knock on the door, George answered. "Is Lucy Mooney here?" It was that voice from the phone. "What do you want Magui?" He said. "Just to talk." She smirked. "Yeah, let her in." I was on cloud nine, nothing could ruin it.

She walked straight up to me and grabbed my hair, "Because of you, Lando has kicked me out and blocked me!" I removed her arm from my hair, pulled her leg and pushed her chest, causing her to fall. The boys stepped back. "I didn't do shit, maybe just be better and then he'd want you." Clearly I hurt her feelings. "You're nothing special Lucy." She said, standing up and brushing herself off, I ushered her to the door. "Oh yeah? Go tell that to Lando." I pushed her out and shut my door.

Charles walked up to me, "How did you manage to just get even hotter?" I giggled. We all sat and talked for a little longer. "We'd best be going to bed, I'm flying home tomorrow." Charles said. I looked at him surprised, "are you?" He nodded. "Yep, gotta take you on a proper date." I smiled. The boys hugged me goodnight and me and Charles went to bed. He held me all night. How can you not fall for him?

I woke in the morning to my bags packed and some clothes laid out for me, a cup of tea on the bedside table. He really was the sweetest. I got dressed and headed downstairs with my tea, "good morning, mon cherie." He smiled, "morning, darling." I said. He came round and gave me a kiss. "You ready for the flight?" He asked. "How could I not be? You've taken care of everything for me." All I could do was smile around him.

I checked my phone, before we made our way to the airport, I have loads of messages mainly from Lando, but I didn't want to deal with whatever he had in store so I left it, until we got on the plane.
