I woke up, Landos arms wrapped around me, Arthur at my feet, we were still on the couch. Poor Arthur, finding out his brother did something like this and still sticking by me first. Lando noticed I was awake, "how you feeling princess?" "My head hurts." I said, he kissed my head, "better?" He smiled.

"Why didn't he want me Lando? What did I do wrong?" I looked at him, tears forming in my eyes. "You did nothing Moo, you're perfect, he's just an arse, I don't think you were just a bet, he seemed to really care, I think he just got caught up in the moment." His words made sense, it definitely felt real to me.

I looked around the room, "I want to reorganise this room." Lando looked at me, "Seriously? Right now?" I nodded. "Well okay then." We stood up and woke Arthur. "Morning sleeping beauty." I said. "You're not mad at me?" He smiled. "Why would I? It wasn't your mistake, muppet." He smiled, "Moo wants to rearrange the living room." Lando rolled his eyes. "Moo?" Arthur questioned. "Her last names Mooney." Lando laughed. "Ah, I've seen your name, I'll give you a follow. You want help rearranging?" "You should probably go check on Charles, make sure he's doing okay." I said. "True, I'll go check on him but I'll come back tonight if that's okay?" "Artie, that's absolutely fine, this was your home first." He smiled and walked to the door.

"Right so where do we start." Lando asked. "The couch." I smiled. We spent the entire morning, listening to music and rearranging the living room. He had good music choices, which I hated to admit.

"Right, that's living room done, I'll make us a tea." He smiled. He disappeared to the kettle, I checked my phone and followed Arthur back. I placed my phone down. "Lanny, can we talk?" He placed the cup of tea in front of me. "Of course." He sat next to me. "Did you sleep with Magui? The other night when she answered your phone?" He looked shocked. "No, I didn't even know you called until she told me, I was in the shower, she'd come over to collect some things, when I came out, she showed me that picture of you and Charles and told me about the call. I was so angry I told her to never contact me again, she pushed you into his arms, knowing about the bet." I sipped my tea. "Did she tell you she came to my room?"

Lando looked angry, "She did what?" "She came to my room when we got back, tried pulling my hair, I put her own her arse." I giggled, "That's my girl." He smiled. "That's what Charles said." My voice sadder this time. "Lucy he was a dick, you were jaded by my bad decisions, I've also been there since the beginning, that very first night when I believed in love at first sight." I blushed. In the silence I heard the song in the background as did Lando, it was Stargazing by Myles Smith.

'Take my heart don't break it, love me to my bones. All this time I've wasted, you were right there all along. You and I stargazing, intertwining souls. We were never strangers, you were right there all along.'

We smiled at eachother, "I think that was our sign." Lando said with a smile. "I think you're right." I smiled back. He leaned in and kissed me, I missed his kiss and his touch, I kissed back, catching him by surprise, he stood in front of me, wrapping his arms around me, I put mine round his neck. We pulled apart and put our foreheads together, "I'm the biggest idiot Lucy, please forgive me." He sounded sincere. "Okay, Lanny." He looked in my eyes. "So you're mine?" "Yes." He gave me a bear hug. "Finally, I'm so happy." "Lanny, I'm struggling to breathe." He put me down and we laughed. "I'm the luckiest man alive." He kissed me again.

Arthur called me, to ask if he was still okay to come over and if he could bring Charles to apologise, so I thought why not. 5 minutes later there was a knock at my door, Lando opened it, there was just a massive bouquet of red roses attached to some legs. "Please let me in, this is really heavy." I laughed and told Arthur to come in, Charles behind him giving me a small smile.

"Arthur, why have you brought such a massive bouquet?" I asked walking over to them. "Mr Perfect over there, couldn't carry them." I laughed. I have nowhere to put them. "I brought a big pot, because I knew you didnt have anything big enough." "Thank you, Charles." Lando took the pot, added water and started trimming the roses with a diagonal cut. "You've had practice I see." He shrugged his shoulders, "When you have a mum and sisters, you learn these things, princess." I blushed.

"Lucy, can we talk?" Charles asked. "Charles, we don't have to, it was a stupid mistake and clearly, you've made up for it with these 100 roses." I smiled. "It's 200 actually, it's the maximum they would let you buy." I looked at him with my jaw dropped, "Charles, these would have cost a fortune, no, I can't accept them." He laughed. "Lucy, I don't mind, it wasn't as bad as you think." I crossed my arms. "Fine, but I'm not happy about it, but they are my favourite so thank you."

My phone rang so I went to check it, it was Dylan. "Hey Dyl, what's up?" "Hey Lucy, I'm really sorry to have to do this, but, they've put a rush on your mums funeral, it's 2 days before your birthday." "So what, it's on Thursday?" "Yeah, I know it's only 2 days notice, but I've only just found out myself." I sat down. "No, don't apologise Dyl, it's not your fault, who's arranged it?" He was silent for a minute. "Michael." "My dad?! I don't hear from him for 10 years and now he's planning my mums funeral? No wonder it's the day before my birthday, probably because he doesn't know when it is." I was so angry. "I know Lu, I'm really sorry, I tried to tell them but...he said he didn't care." I was silent. "Okay, thanks for letting me know, I'll see you there."

As I ended the call, I turned to see Lando stood there. He gave me a hug, "I'm sorry, princess." I hugged him and cried a little, as if it's not bad enough that my mums died, I'm now going to be faced with my dad.
