The weekend was ours and after what Charlotte said , I was still in the clouds. Stephan decided to have a party at their home and invited some people. And when he said "some" I actually believed. But in the end at least 20-25 people showed up. But let's not hurry.
It was Friday afternoon, I got back to the dorm late since I was studying in the library. Unlike Thunder , I took my studies seriously. When I entered our room, I was confused , thinking that I've gone to the wrong place. There was this young guy, sitting on my bed. I was about to ask who he is , but my friend showed up.

- Hey, there you are! I was about to call you.
- Sorry, I tried to study. What's up?
- Ah..but you could do that here too.
- No offense but while you're around you're a distraction.
- Ow... Anyway, meet Dorian. He and his sister moved in today. Sadly there is no empty room for him yet so if you don't mind , I told him that he could stay for now. We should help him a bit.

I mean..I didn't mind but even if I did, I couldn't just kick him out.

- Dorian, he is Marshall, my roommate. He's introverted and smart. He can help you more than I do.

- Hello...sorry for the troubles.. I'm Dorian..I'm just 16. Me and my sister moved here from San Francisco... It's nice to meet you..
- Nice to meet you too. I hope you'll feel good here.

Something was off. He seemed like a good kid. He sure was awkward but there was something more and I couldn't point at it.

- Alright mates. Dorian, why don't you show Marshall where your packages are. He'll help you.
- "He will" ? I thought you said "we" .
- Well, I did my part. I showed him around. It's your turn. You're big and strong. Help him carry his packages in.
- Wow..such a nice friend..
- It...it's ok..I can do alone..
- It's okay , we're just teasing each other. Come now, I'll help you.
- Thank you..

It took a while but we slowly took all his belongings in the room. I was wondering where his sister is or what she is like. This boy was friendly but as I said, something was off..

- Thank you for your help. Mom packed a lots of stuffs..not sure why..
- I barely have a few things.
- Your parents let you move here with empty packs..?
- I don't have parents. I lived in an orphanage all my life.
- Oh..! I'm sorry! I ...I didn't mean...
- Hey, it's fine. What I have is enough.

We were on our way back to the room when suddenly, Dorian tripped and hit himself.
I hurried there as fast as I could. I hated this.. Although he didn't faint like Dan did..but this brought back those memories.

- Hey boy, you're okay? Let me help you.
- I'm sorry..

He took my hand to get up and then..instead of stepping away , he snuggled up to me..
I was feeling awkward. Of course when we were kids, me and my friends used to cuddle each other. This was different. Charlotte used to do this..
He thanked me for helping him and not laughing or mocking him ..
I tried to shoo away my ideas , perhaps he was only shy. Well, if he stays , Stephan will help him open up and pick up some girls.
Of course, he also invited this boy to the party. That night, me and Stephan got in the topic.

- ..not sure man, he's nice but weird in some way..
- I bet he likes you.
- I mean, probably yes. I'm not that intimidating..
- Marshall, I meant "likes" you.
- What?
- Jesus . What I'm trying to say, he probably finds you hot.
- Shut up!
- Really. Dorian is gay. He mentioned me that he prefers men with black hair.
- Cut it.. not funny.
- I'm not joking. Ask him. Or...maybe not. He asked me not to tell anyone.
- And here you just told me.
- Because you don't gossip. He and his sister moved from San Francisco because Dorian was bullied in his last school.  He was beaten and their mother had enough.
- Now that's fucked up...
- Tell me about it. Where is he anyway?
- No idea. You invited the whole school.
- Never mind. There he is.
- Guys, thank you for letting both of us come. Maya is over there with her new friends.
- Say, does she have a boyfriend?
- Aaaand that's my clue to leave. Listen to me Dorian, keep this man away from your sister.
