Hello guys, send your shout out to that one crazy asshole that you love unconditionally 💛
Ann's POV
I did know some things about basketball that's why I wanted to be present today. All my friends were here and I happily tagged along. I always watch basketball at home because of the handsome guys that always capture my attention. The game started and everything seems to amaze me. Silas and Dashiell really made a good team, Dashiell was a point guard and Silas was a center.
The two players stood out, their synergy a marvel to behold. Dashiell the agile point guard with lightning speed, orchestrated the offense like a maestro. His vision was impeccable, threading no-look passes through seemingly impenetrable defenses. His dribbling was poetry in motion, a blur that left defenders grasping at air. Time and again, he found gaps in the defense, penetrating the paint to either dish a perfect assist or finish with a graceful layup.
On the other end of the court was Silas, the formidable forward with a combination of strength and finesse that was unmatched. He was a force in the paint, outmuscling opponents for rebounds and dominating with powerful dunks that shook the rim. But it was his versatility that truly shone; his mid-range jumper was automatic, and his footwork in the post was a masterclass in precision. When the team needed a clutch basket, it was Silas who stepped up, draining shots with ice in his veins.
Together, Dashiell and Silas were an unstoppable duo. Their pick-and-roll was a thing of beauty, each movement perfectly timed and executed. As the final seconds ticked away, Dashiell drove to the basket, drawing the defense before flipping a behind-the-back pass to Silas, who rose majestically for the game-winning slam. The crowd erupted, a cacophony of cheers celebrating a hard-fought victory. In that moment, under the jubilant roar of the fans, Dashiell and Silas stood side by side, the embodiment of teamwork and excellence.
The final scoreboard glowed with the outcome of a fiercely contested high school basketball game:
**Riverdale Raptors: 78**
**Summit Valley Titans: 53**It was a sight to behold really. I couldn't stop myself from shouting and celebrating. I jumped off the bleachers to the basketball court and before I knew it I was hugging Silas so tight. I blinked at myself when Silas hugged back and leaned downwards to place his chin on my head. I pulled away with a smile.
Dashiell'd sat just besides us and I started talking.
"Damn, you guys killed it out there today! Dashiell, those passes were sick—seriously, you had those defenders spinning in circles. And Silas, that last dunk? Bro, you brought the house down! You two were on fire."
"Thanks, Ann. We just went out there and played our game, you know? But really, it was a team effort. Everyone did their part, and yeah don't bro-zone me" he said with a smile before taking his bottle of water.
"Do I know you?" Dashiell asked with a stoic look. I gulped before I could speak again.
"No, I just thought I'd compliment you on what you did, you were marvelous out there." I tried explaining and sat besides Silas who offered me a smile.
"Pfft, whatever. It wasn’t even that hard. The other team was trash. Honestly, I was bored out there." Dashiell said getting up with his bottle in hand, his face expressionless.
"Come on, Ann let's go get something, I need some peace before these boobs rob me that too." Silas said getting up and offering me a hand. I couldn't stop myself from cackling thinking of what he said.
We made our way out of the arena with alot of struggling because some weird bitches won't stop bumping into Silas and shower him with praises. I caught site of Elly and the others and was about to go their way when Silas stopped me.
