Hey how are you doing sweeties, what exciting thing happened lately?💛

Alex's POV

Elly had a devious smirk on display while Otto was giggling loudly almost falling from his seat. Mike was blushing hard with a small smile on his rosy lips.

"Well, well, look who we have here. The whore herself with her new prey." We heard Sylvia's voice through the speakers.
I didn't know who she was talking about but when I saw who Elly was staring at, oh! It's Ann. I don't know what's between these two girls but I can tell they don't really like each other.

"Jealous, aren't we?" Ann asked with a smirk her hands on Silas' chest. I like this girl's confidence. I'd have dated her if she wasn't my friend.

"Now why'd I be?" Sylvia asked walking towards Ann and Silas. We did the same, Otto and Elly holding hands while Mike's hand hold mine. I don't know what always happens when this guy touches me.

"Maybe because you couldn't get yourself a 'prey'" Ann said air quoting the word prey. Sylvia forced a smile and walked past us without another word.

"So, are you guys like dating now?" Mike asked and I saw Elly swallowing hard. Don't ask me why I was looking at him, I don't know.

"Maybe." Ann said with a wide grin. I was happy for her.

"Congratulations banana pants" I said and everyone started laughing except Elly who just smiled and excused himself. I still don't know why I am focusing on him really. Otto excused himself after some minutes looking offended, okay maybe am overthinking.

The room pulsed with the thumping bass of the latest hits, each beat a heartbeat in the living, breathing organism of the party. Streamers hung like vibrant vines from the ceiling, and multicolored lights flickered, casting playful shadows on the walls. Laughter bubbled up like soda from every corner, mixing with the hum of animated conversations and the occasional whoop of excitement.

In one corner, a group of teenagers huddled around a game of charades, their exaggerated gestures and mock-serious expressions drawing a crowd of cheering spectators. Nearby, a snack table groaned under the weight of chips, cookies, and sodas, while a line of eager partygoers snaked around it, hands reaching out for sugary treats and fizzy drinks.

A couple of people were engaged in a heated debate about the best superhero, their animated gestures and passionate arguments almost theatrical. Overhead, a glittering disco ball spun, scattering tiny specks of light across the room, adding to the sense of sparkling chaos. Some people were making out while others went upstairs to do Satan knows what.

In the midst of it all, you felt a surge of energy, a shared sense of belonging that came with being part of this vibrant, chaotic tapestry. The night was young, the possibilities endless, and for a moment, everything felt like it was perfectly in place.

"Some of us are upstairs, I thought I'd invite you since you look like lost puppies here." Sylvia said standing right beside me.

"We will pass thanks." Ann said trying to smile. Silas said nothing instead and continued to scroll down his phone.

"Is there anything interesting up there?" Mike chimed getting to his feet. I reached for him since he was so wasted.

"Come find out. Oh! Elly's there." Sylvia said with a smirk before walking away. Mike insisted on going and I couldn't let him be by himself. Ann and Silas shared looks before tagging along. Love language maybe!?

There were famous kids from school in the room. Some whose names I knew and some I didn't. We decided on the game we were going to play. You can guess... yeah you're right. Spin the bottle! We sat in a circle, surrounded by friends, the bottle lying innocently in the middle.
