Elly's POV
I couldn't get myself to sleep yesterday so here I am today getting ready for school looking like a zombie. What a life this is. Alot of people think that The mighty Elly has a life worth dying for, little did they know it's not worth it. I know people will think that am ungrateful because what do I luck? My dad is the owner of Apple Inc. that explains why everything I own has the apple logo. My mother in the other hand used to be a famous neurosurgeon, not sure what happened though but she no longer is. So yeah what's there to complain about when you can get everything you want on a silver plate. I love my father, he is the best, always there for me, supportive and understanding but my mom-
"Hey honey, how was your night?" speak of the devil.
"Good" I replied on my way to the door.
"Breakfast is ready, I made your favorite" she tried again, she knew that I would never listen to whatever she says but again she never leave me alone.
"Fuck off will you!" I hissed.
"Ellington, that's not how you speak to my wife." my father intervened with a stern look.
"Whatever, am off to school big guy" I diverted my attention to my father instead.
"I know, come give me a hug buddy" he offered with a wide grin.
"See you" I said as I pulled away.
My dad knew I wouldn't have breakfast with them even if he offered so he didn't and I love him for that. I drove to Ann's house to pick her as usual and we were on our way to school when she stopped me.
"Stop-stop, stop Elly" she screamed.
"What happened?" I asked as my eyes widened.
"Isn't that the boy who knocked you down yesterday, do you think we should offer him a lift." She asked with a grin.
"Really that's why you screamed for me to stop?" This girl was insane.
"So are we giving him a lift?" She pouted and blinked several as her way to get me to do what she wants but I wasn't having this today.
"And why would I offer a lift to a stranger?" I asked.
"He is not a stranger, he is in our school." she tried again.
"And so?"
"We can-
"No, this is my-
"Hey" she called out "want a lift to school?" she asked the guy.
"Sure" he said.
"The fuck was that, I told you Ann not to-
"Chill, he doesn't bite" she interrupted my sentence.
Wow, just wow. I thought.
"Hi, am Silas" the guy waved at the back sit.
"Hi Silas am Ann and this is Elly" Ann chimed.
"Thanks for the ride fellas, my car broke down a while ago" he continued, scrolling through his phone.
"No probs" Ann nothing but screamed.
"I think you are getting over excited Miss" I deadpanned.
"Don't Elly" she hissed making Silas burst into laughter.
We drove silently to school after that and it was until we got off the car that I realized how hot- I mean handsome Silas was,his presence immediately drawing my eyes, his chiseled features that spoke of strength and grace, his jawline was sculpted and his hair tousled just so, as if he had just stepped out of a classic romance novel. But it was his eyes that truly captivated—a deep, honeyed brown that shimmered with warmth and mystery, holding within them tales untold. His smile, quick and disarming, revealed a hint of mischief, adding to the allure that seemed to surround him like a halo.
Ann coughed a bit and that's when I realized that I was staring but would you blame me, this guy looks like he didn't belong to this universe. We walked to our class but to our surprise Silas was also here.
"Wow, didn't know we would be having the same class." Silas said as we all stood at the door.
"You can seat with us you know?" Ann offered.
"Are you sure, Elly?" Silas called my name.
"Yeah" I managed.
And he sat with us. I was trapped in between them as they bickered back and forth about some weird anime they loved. At times he would feel eyes on him and I got caught staring a number of times. I am straight actually but I have never seen a guy this handsome with this kind of personality. Every handsome guy in our school was an asshole, they were either ignorant or fools with ego but Silas was none of the two.
"Yooh, sup my-" Alex trailed off at the sight of Silas and I couldn't help but chuckle. We all knew that Mike was the only gay we had in our group but Alex's reaction was epic.
"You look hot, has anyone ever mentioned that to you" Mike commented offering his hand for a handshake.
"Thanks, and yeah I get that alot" Silas shrugged shaking Mike's hand.
"Mike here, and the frozen one is Alex." Mike introduced and yes Alex was still frozen.
"Earth to Alex" I said to Alex and he eventually moved.
"Hi, wow! are you real?" Alex asked his voice coming out as a whisper earning a laugh from all of us.
"Yeah I. Am. Real" Silas replied in between laughter and just then the teacher walked in.
We were now at our lunch table, no Silas was not with us. We just found out that he had joined basketball and was sitting with the other players. Though he was not there he was the topic of the day because everyone seemed to be interested in him.
"I know right" Ann answered to what Mike had said.
"Why didn't you want to give him a ride." Alex asked turning to face me.
"I just didn't feel like." I answered.
"Meanie" Mike commented making a face.
"Say what you want I don't care, SpongeBob" I retorted with a smile.
"Guys, I had a dream today" Alex said with wide eyes as if he had remembered something.
"Am sure whatever it is will never happen in real life" Ann shrugged.
"I had sex with Nicki Minaj" Alex continued ignoring Ann "and she was so impressed that she got me Bugatti La Voiture Noire" he finished with a weird dance. Only Alex will know a full name of a car.
"I wish I had bigger dreams like you dude." Mike said tapping his shoulder.
"Stupid assholes" Ann said pointing the three of us.
"What have I done?" I asked but before she answered we heard people screaming across the canteen hall some were running while some were cheering.
"Isn't that Silas?" Ann screamed her question.
