Party On The Beach

The boys calmly walk back to the beach, the massive hoard of Navi spotting them and rushing over.

Pulling the two apart to praise them for their wonderful work at the warrior trials.

Not even realizing they had been separated, Aonung was being passed around by several people that he didn't even know.

So was Neteyam, who was still a little distraught after his panic attack. But the banging had stopped so the loudness of the people was bearable.

About an hour went by before Aonung had made it through the crowd, finding himself next to two familiar faces.

"Te'ang, Lea, how are you two? I haven't seen you since the party after the Tulkuns return" Aonung sighed, relaxing his face.

"We're good man, but we should be asking you that. Your trials were amazing" Te'ang said placing a hand on Aonungs shoulder in amazement.

"Thanks Te'ang. I knew I could do it. I've been training my whole life for the trials, my father just needed to see that I was ready" Aonung smiled back at the two.

"You were definitely ready" Lea said, smiling.

"Have a drink Aonung, to celebrate" Te'ang said, handing Aonung his freshly poured drink.

"Why not" Aonung smirked before lifting the cup to his mouth and taking back the whole cup.

Lifting his head up with a great big smile, following Te'ang and Lea to the drinks table.

On the other side of the crowd, Neteyam had just escaped from two Metkayina men who were practically selling off their daughters to him, after seeing his amazing talents at the trials.

His eyes landing on two familiar faces, two people who he always ended up finding at party's.

"Why isn't it the warrior Neteyam"  Ne'ar called out to the boy, holding out his hand for Neteyam to shake.

"I was already a warrior Ne, now I'm also a Metkayina warrior" Neteyam smiled shaking the boys hand.

"True, true" Ne'ar smirked.

"Teyam that was very impressive . I've never seen anyone use another creature to tame a Turak" Nalia said, leaning up and wrapping Neteyam in a quick hug.

"Thank you Nalia. The rules never said you couldn't use another creature to tame one yourself if none choose you. So I used my own resources" Neteyam smiled, hugging her back.

"Have a drink Teyam" Ne'ar said leaning on Neteyams shoulder, shoving a cup at his chest.

"Fuck it. After the day I've had, I could use a drink" Neteyam laughed, before grabbing the drink and downing it straight.

The somewhat familiar sting of the alcohol dripping down his throat.

"Ahhh there we go, attta boy" Ne'ar laughed, downing his own drink.

Nalia stood there next to them, contemplating her life choices, having to always deal with the two boys while they were drunk.

Not that she minded, they were extremely funny.

Three maybe four drinks later, Neteyam and Ne'ar were pissed.

Laughing and giggling at each others side, stumbling around through the crowd.

Neteyam made sure to keep it in his mind to stay away from any tables.

Because according to Aonung, the last time he embarrassed the shit out of himself.

"Shit Aonung" Neteyam thought.

He hasn't seen his mate this whole time since the two of them got hoarded off my a bunch of curious Navi.

"Have you guys seen Aonung?" He mumbled.

"Who?" Ne'ar slurred.

"Aonung. You know, my boyfriend" Neteyam giggled.

"Ohhhhh" Ne'ar laughed.

"Aonungs over there" Nalia, the only level headed person said, pointing over to the boy Neteyam was looking for.

"Thanks, I'm gonna go see him" Neteyam said detaching himself from Ne'ars side, stumbling towards the love of his life.

Meanwhile Aonung was stumbling next to Te'ang. Having drunk one too many drinks.

"The two of you are going to be the death of me" Lea sighed, slapping her hand to her forehead. "It should be Neteyam looking after you" She said to Aonung.

"Neteyam?" Aonung said puzzled, he couldn't believe he forgot his boyfriend.

"I'm gonna go find him" He spluttered, moving towards the middle of the crowd in search for Neteyam.

Not even five steps in, their eyes locked.

"Teyam'" Aonung called, rushing towards his boyfriend.

"Nung!" Neteyam called, stumbling over to the boy.

They met in the middle of the crowd, quickly wrapping their arms around each other in a hug.

Pulling apart after a second, forgetting where they were, leaning in for a long loving kiss.

"I missed you" Neteyam smiled, pulling away to look into Aonungs eyes.

"I missed you too" Aonung smiled, before leaning back on for another kiss.

Tsireya and Loak not too far away spotting the two and smiling knowingly at the sight of the two lovers.

Kiri and Rotxo beside the boys, their jaws hanging to the floor at the sight.

The boys fathers across the crowd mimicked Kiri and Rotxo with their jaws hanging to the ground.

Their suspicions were true.

The boys were definitely together.
