(Y/N)'s POV
I woke up and saw the ruins of houses scattered, the sky was dark like the sky of hell, fire spread and grew everywhere.
"Where am I? and why Is everything burning?"
I felt an incredible vibration from my right, I realized that I was not using my equipment at all, there was no other choice, I ran towards the location. From the thick smoke I saw.... Female titan...
"Shit! Why is she here?!"
I hid behind houses that had become rubble. I slowly moved backwards away from the female titan, my steps stopped because I felt like I was stepping on something, I looked down and saw someone's hand that I stepped on, after I glanced at the corpse's face.... I was shocked
"A-Armin...?"
suddenly from above fell half a corpse that made me shocked, what made me even more shocked was that the corpse was the corpse of my colleagues.
"Damn! What's going on here?!"
Suddenly the female titan screamed loudly so that it deafened my ears, I peeked to see the situation. The female titan seemed to be gripping someone, but because of the thick smoke I couldn't see it clearly. The female titan seemed to move out of the smoke cloud .... the face of a woman I always protect
"MIKASA!!"
I ran with all my strength and grabbed a piece of sharp glass, it seemed that the female titan realized my presence, but that gave me the opportunity to attack her eyes by throwing the piece of glass towards her eyes so that she released Mikasa, I quickly ran and caught her. She was unconscious. The titan stood in front of me and stared at me cynically. I felt desperate, I hugged the unconscious Mikasa with all my strength so that nothing would happen to her. The female titan raised her hand and swung it at me.

"UAAAAKH!" I woke up gasping for breath, because I got up from my supine position quickly, I felt pain in my chest because of the sudden movement.
"Its a dream..." I said in mind
"you're awake" Mikasa sat next to my bed while reading a book
"Mi-Mikasa what...are you doing here?" I said while feeling my neck, after finally realizing that my necklace was not on my neck at all
"My necklace?! where's my necklace?" I panicked because the necklace was not where it should be (The pic of (y/n) necklace is on chapter 16)
"You mean that weird shape necklace? You have it there on the desk, I put it there" said Mikasa while pointing to the table
"huft...I thought I was lose my necklace" I said while sighing in relief
"you seem to be more worried for that necklace instead of yourself" said Mikasa
"Well of course, I got that from my precious friend I ever have. I won't lose it," I replied. Mikasa looked pensive at my necklace, apparently she was thinking about something.
"By the way, do you have a word with me? I think you're always sticking by Eren's side no matter what" I said "No...I-...huft... im here to say thank you for saving me... back there..and..." said Mikasa
"And?" I asked
"i...im...im sorry for what I said before the expedition...I..im kinda rude to you... im sorry" said Mikasa while turning her face away from me
"don't mention, that is what I should do thought" I replied
"but why? I didn't even ask you to protect me this far, even endanger yourself for my sake" said Mikasa
I turned my face away, staring at the sky outside through the window
"i...I just can't afford to..to lose you, you're someone who's important to me" I said
"i'll protect you no matter what, I can't bear it if I lose you....again...I won't let It happen" I said in my mind
Suddenly the atmosphere became silent, I suddenly realized what I had just said to Mikasa
"D-D-Don't think about it... h-haha.... I'm just blabbering around...h-ha-haha.." my cheeks flushed because I had said something that was the same as expressing my feelings to a woman. Mikasa was silent and just stared at me, I ran out of ideas to change the topic and this awkward atmosphere.
"it's that so?" said Mikasa flatly
"huh?" I said
"I'm gonna leave now, I have to see Eren, take care" Mikasa said and got up from her chair and left me alone
"Ah damn it" I grumbled

Mikasa's POV
I quickly got out of (Y/N)'s room after (Y/N) said those strange words. My face was blank at that time, but my heart was pounding when I heard it. However, at the same time my heart ached, because (Y/N) looked sad at that time even though he didn't show it.
"No...No! Only Eren...Eren is the only one I love! But...why my heart...." I said in mind
Things that are still imaginable in my mind is the necklace that (Y/N) wears
"Why do I feel that necklace is so familiar..." I said in mind, not wanting to think too much about it, I immediately went to where Eren was.
....
"Mikasa? Did something happen? You seem to be more quiet" said Armin
"Huh? Oh...Nothing, its nothing" I said, Armin and Eren looked at each other, Mikasa acting like this was not a common thing.
"oh yeah, you have just visited (Y/N) right? How is he?" said Armin, I flinched a little when (Y/N)'s name was mentioned
"He's just woke up" I replied
"Well that's good to hear" replied Armin
"Eren, what about your wound?" I asked
"I'm fine, not a big wound though" replied Eren
"we just have a call from commander to attend a meeting, tomorrow" said Armin
"a meeting?" Eren replied
"to reveal the identity of the female titan, we're getting closer to the truth" said Armin
