Chapter 14

Jieun's POV

While Chaehyun, Gaeul and I waited for our professor to come inside, the door opened as Jay and Jake entered, but what caught my attention was how Jay had a bruist on the corner of his lips. Did something happen? Did he get in a fight? I worriedly thought to myself as he sat beside me on his chair.

"Are you ok?", I worriedly asked him.
"Yeah! I'm fine!", he said in a stern voice, but I immediately noticed how his voice slightly cracked like he was trying his best not to cry.
"What happened? Why did you get hurt?", I asked him.
"Jieun.. not now please!", he said, slightly annoyed.

What happened to him? Did he get in a fight with someone? Or.. did he get in a fight with his dad? I worriedly thought to myself as I immediately remembered how Jay told me about his father's mistreatment towards him. I hope he's doing ok! And I hope he won't go back to his old self. I thought to myself as I just turned my attention to the board when my phone suddenly vibrated and showed a message from a random number.

Unknown Number: Why the hell did you block my number?!
Me: Who the hell are you?

No way! Is this Jisung?! I thought to myself. I already blocked him from my contacts and from my social media accounts but.. how the hell did he still find a way to contact me again.

Me: Jisung stop!

When I told him to stop, he didn't reply a few minutes later on. I guess he got caught earlier! He must've thought that I'm stupid to not realize that it's him! I thought to myself as I groaned in frustration.

"Woah woah woah! Are you ok, NiNi?", Chaehyun asked me as she turned back at me.
"Did something happen?", Gaeul asked me.
"Apparently, a random number sent me a message, and I'm assuming that the person behind the random number is Jisung!", I said, showing them the message of the random number.
"What the hell?!", Chaehyun said in annoyance.
"Girl, I think you should change your number now.", Gaeul quietly told me.
"I guess I will, probably when we have time. And wait.. why are you whispering?", I asked her.
"Uhhh.. 'cause what if Jisung has a close friend here? For sure that person might inform him.", she said.
"Oh, possible! Thanks for informing me!", I said.
"Want to go to the mall later? We could go there to buy a new sim for you!", Chaehyun said.
"Sure! Thanks guys!", I said.
"Anything for you, NiNi!", Gaeul said.
"Please don't share my number to anybody else!", I told them.
"Don't worry, we won't!", Gaeul told me with reassurance.

Damn! I guess I have to make some adjustments just because someone's attempting invading my privacy! I thought to myself as I rolled my eyes in frustration when my professor suddenly came inside as I turned my attention to him.

Jisung's POV

While the teacher is discussing something, I immediately turned my attention to Haechan to talk to him.

"I already sent her a message. She thought it's already over by blocking me in her contacts and social media accounts!", I said as I sniggered.
"Do you really think she's that stupid to think that it's not you behind that random number. And plus.. Do you really have to go this far, dude?", he said.
"I'm not crossing the line! I'm just doing this to fix our misunderstandings!", I said.
"Tch! Fix your misunderstandings my ass! She doesn't even give a single shit about you anyways..", he said.
"Don't you even dare say that! Watch your mouth, dude!", I said, slightly raising my voice, which caught the attention of our professor unfortunately.
"Mr. Park, I understand that you couldn't wait to talk to your friend since it's almost lunch break but.. please pay attention to me first.", our professor said.
"I will! Apologies for the inconvenience, professor!", I said.
"It's ok!", he said as he continued discussing.
"Anyways... if I were you, I would stop bothering Jieun already but.. if you want to continue, go ahead! Just continue to make sure that Park Jay won't be able to claim her I guess?", Haechan told me as he turned his attention to our professor.
