Power Rangers Dino Charge: A New Ranger

Annabeth POV

We were in the park enjoying ourselves. When something wrapped around my wrist and I turned around to see a monster.

"Unleash the power", The others morphed.

"Unleash the power", I morphed.

"Let me go", I yelled struggling to get the thing off my wrist.

Then, I was standing in the spot the monster was standing.

Riley POV

"What just happened", Annabeth said.

"Dino Saber", I said as I drew my sword.

"Velociraptor Final strike", I said swinging at the monster.

"I don't think so", the monster said swapping places with Annabeth.

I tried to stop but I hit Annabeth hard on her arm. The monster let go off her and she demorphed and fell to the ground holding her arm. The others demorphed.

"Annabeth", I said as the others came over.

"Are you okay", Tyler said.

"I think so", Annabeth said standing up. She looked at me with those sad eyes I saw when Fury knocked Tyler out. "Riley", she yelled as I ran the other way.

I couldn't believe what I did to Annabeth. I demorphed when I was out of sight at the park. I still had my sword out and started hitting a tree with it.

"Someone's upset", A familiar voice said.

I turned around and Tommy was standing there.

"Tommy", I said and we shook hands.

"What's wrong, Riley", Tommy said.

"I hurt my friend in a battle this morning", I said. "This monster swapped places with her just as I was about to hit it so I hit her instead. Now I probably won't hear the end of this."

"Well, you need to go and ask your friend if she is okay", Tommy said. "But first lets train so you are ready for the next time the monster attacks."

I grabbed my sword and he grabbed a sword too. I swung and he blocked it. I know he was a ranger and he knows I am a ranger. He taught me how to use a sword when I was younger(14). We trained for about another hour.

"Same time tomorrow", Tommy said.

"Yeah", I said. "I might not be a ranger though", I said under my breath.

I headed back to the base and Annabeth was there. She was looking at the computer and her arm was in a sling.

"Hey Annabeth", I said.

"Riley", Annabeth said and came over and hugged me.

"Are you okay", I said.

"Yeah, it just hurts", Annabeth said and she looked into my green eyes with her green eyes and I could tell that she know it was an accident.

"I am sorry for what I did to you", I said.

"Riley, it wasn't your fault", Annabeth said grabbing my arm as I started walking out.

"Yes it was. I couldn't stop and you got hurt", I said. "I don't think I am cut out to be a ranger", I said and placed my energem and dino chargers on the counter as I left the base.

"Riley", Annabeth yelled as I ran out of the base.

Annabeth POV

How was I supposed to tell the others. Riley just gave up on being a ranger because he hurt me. I knew it wasn't his fault that I was hurt. I couldn't stop him from doing that.

"Annabeth what are those", Chase said walking next to me while I was holding Riley's energem and charger.

"Riley's energem and dino chargers", I said and started to tear up. "He left the team because he hurt me in the battle today", I said starting to cry now. (A/N. The only why Annabeth is crying over Riley is because he thinks its his fault that she is hurt and that he left the team.)

"Its okay", Chase said.

Riley POV

I just quit the team just because I didn't want to hurt anyone else. I met up with Tommy at the park.

"Hey Riley", Tommy said. "How's you friend."

"She is okay, but I gave up being a ranger so I don't hurt anyone else", I said.

"Why", Tommy said.

"It was my fault and I don't want to do that to the others so I left", I said.

"Green Ranger", the monster said and shot lasers at me and Tommy. I went flying into an open field. the monster came and grabbed my shirt. I kicked it back. Then, it knocked me down again. Then I saw Tommy with his Dino thunder morpher. But the dinogem was broken and if he used it he could kill himself.

"Dino Thunder, Power up", Tommy said and morphed into the Black Dino Thunder Ranger.

He started fighting the monster. I stood up because I knew it was risky. Then, he went flying and his suit started to show his body.

"I have to hold on longer", I heard Tommy said.

"Riley", I heard someone yell. I turned around to see the Dino Charge Rangers morphed and fighting vivix.

"Catch", Annabeth said and threw me, my energem and dino chargers.

"Thanks", I said. "Unleash the power", I morphed and went to help Tommy.

"Are you okay", I asked.

"Yeah just my power is almost out", Tommy said.

"Ankylo-Bow, Final Strike", Annabeth said destroying the monster.

"Hey, I was about to do that", I said and she gave me hug.

"I just glad you're back", Annabeth said.

We all demorphed and Tommy was perfectly fine. Tommy left and we went back to the museum.
