[Y/n] shot up in bed in a cold sweat.

"HEEYA! GYAH, HOO-AH!"

"Ugh..." [Y/n] ran a hand down his bare face. Ever since Garmadon vanished they'd gotten too comfortable, while his dreams... voices? He didn't really know what they were, only that they were coming to him more frequently.

"FIRE STRIKE!" [Y/n] tensed and falling to the floor. "My gosh, isn't that the greatest move you've ever seen."

"I'm gonna smash that damn console..." [Y/n] grumbled as he got up adorning his hood to mask, sure he enjoyed having a separate room but that didn't solve the fact the walls inside the monastery were thin. [Y/n] bypassed the living room and headed straight out the door to the training ground, grabbing his Tekko-kagis from their rack. Beating up the dummies always helped calm his nerves.

After a few minutes of training the double doors of Wu room slid open.

"Where are the others?" Wu inquired from him, eyes darting around yet only finding one of the five boys.

"Zane! Stop wasting your special attack on me, you have to save it." Jay whined followed by the sound of something being thrown.

"In their room..." [Y/n] sighed as he pointed over his shoulder before sitting to sharpen his blades.

"And why have you not dragged them to the training grounds with you?" Wu pondered while [Y/n] looked back up with a baffled expression.

"With respect Sensei, since when are they my responsibility?"

"You are the eldest among your brothers, with that comes a responsibility and the role of leadership." Wu lectured the male to inspire him.

"My role is stopping Garmadon." The male corrected firmly, tightening his grip on his steel claws to Wu's note.

"Fantastic! I'm out of lifes!" Jay screeched catching the pairs attention. Wu stepped forward and placed a reassuring hand on [Y/n]'s student.

"Should there come a time were I am no longer here, there is no one I trust more to lead the ninja. Now come, they've forgotten their roles long enough." Wu began walking to the boys room leaving [Y/n] a little awestruck by the sudden trust before jogging after the old man.

"Ok, now!" Cole ordered the group so focused on the boss battle they didn't even notice Wu slipping past to the plug socket as [Y/n] stayed by the door to watch things play out.

"Oh man!" Cole dropped his controller in a strop as the power was cut.

"What happened!" Kai whined.

"It took us three hours to get there. Why would you do that, why?" Jay complained.

"Just because Lord Garmadon vanished through a vortex doesn't mean he won't return for the golden weapons of Spinjitzu!" Wu scolded.

"But Sensei Wu, ever since he has been gone Ninjago has had nothing but peace." Zane tried to reason calmly in his usual soft tone.
