S1 E3: Snakebit

"EVIL NEVER SLEEPS AND NEITHER SHOULD YOU!! In order to reach your full potential we must greet each day as a new opportunity!" [Y/n] paused the cleaning of his Tekko-kagis as he heard Wu's voice wailing followed by the insistent banging of a gong. The magenta ninja could only suspect his brothers were getting one heck of a wake-up call. Seeing as they were getting up [Y/n] decided it best to join whatever lecture was about to unfold, hanging his bladed gauntlets and wandering in to the sleeping quarters.

"Ugh.. you call that rest? I think my back has more lumps than the mattress." He managed to catch Cole whine as he walked in on the sleepy four all dragging their feet in their pajamas.

"We were up so late talking about how cool it is to have a new headquarters I guess we lost track of time since the Serpentine burnt down the monastery I'm just glad we have a roof over our he-EGH!" Jay ranted on before gagging as without noticing the faucet had poured sand instead of water onto the toothpaste on his brush.

"What is our lesson today Sensei, mastering the strike of the scorpion? Or perhaps the grace of th-agh!!" Zane managed to cut himself off by crashing through the floorboards leaving his lower half stuck. [Y/n] had to do his best to stay calm and not laugh.

"I think today's lesson will be... chores." Wu informed earning an outcry from the four.

"Ninja fight Sensei, they do not clean." Cole huffed.

"In order to respect ourselves we must respect our new home and where we are from and this place is a long way from becoming a ninja headquarters. I expect things to be spotless when I return!" Wu finished as [Y/n] finally tried to creep away out the door.

"You aswell [Y/n]." Wu spoke quickly causing [Y/n] to stop in his tracks and sulk.

Busted.

"And put your backs into it." He added with a final smack of the gong directly in [Y/n]'s face.

"Ugh this place is gonna take forever to clean and fix up." Kai whined.

"Unless we put more than our backs into it." Jay added with a scheming smirk.

After the other four suited up [Y/n] assigned specific spots, Jay tackled the engine room while Cole would deal with the Hull and all the mess inside while Kai and Zane would tagteam the bedrooms leaving [Y/n] the deck to spruce up. While he's wasn't fully on board with the excessive use of Spinjitzu, what Wu didn't know wouldn't hurt him.

"Ninja, go!" [Y/n] spun across the deck flinging sand off the deck and back into the desert where it belonged before whipping up the steps to the bridge and blitzing the room of any trash and junk, tossing it overboard onto the pile the others had formed.

Wu and Nya walked in to the living quarters only to hear the familiar jingle.

"So I'm supposed to attack the big rock monster thing?" [Y/n] asked Jay.

"Mhm!" Jay shot back beaming, happy after finally getting the stubborn magenta ninja to delve into the infamous 'video games' they were always obsessed.

"Ha, what took you so long?" Kai smirked clearly proud of their work.

"Wow, this place looks amazing. You guys did all this?" Nya asked in slight disbelief as she and Wu looked around at the spotless interior.

"Ninja don't just fight Nya, we clean." Cole corrected his earlier statement.

"Oh, you have exceded my expectations. But can you keep it up?" Wu pondered as he stroked his beard while Nya drifted towards the window after catching a faint honk from outside.
