Logan's POV

My birthday came around and I was at Crockett's getting ready. Crockett walked in as I pulled on my sweater. "Hey, you made it," I smiled.

"I'm not missing your birthday," Crockett smiled

"I'm not missing your birthday," Crockett smiled. "Are you ready to go?"

"Yeah," I smiled as I put my phone in my back pocket, along with my slim wallet. "Let's go to Molly's." We got in Crockett's truck and he drove us to the bar. I walked in and Stella handed me my first shot. I downed it. "Whoa, what was that?"

"A Scooby Snack," Stella smiled. "You're welcome."

"Thanks," I smiled. I saw Will and gave him a hug. "Thanks for coming out."

"I wouldn't miss it," Will smiled.

"Birthday girl gets first shot at karaoke," Chris replied as he handed me the mic. I looked at him. "Come on, Dearden."

"Herrmann, I don't sing," I pointed.

"You are tonight," Violet put me up in front of everyone. "We've never heard you sing. We've worked with you for 8 years."

"There was probably a reason for that," I replied. I scrolled on the iPad. "Let's see what we have here."

"I have a request," Violet stated. I looked at her. "What If I Don't by Shaylen?" I clicked on the song and the music started up. "Yeah!"

"Why am I still buying make-up that's waterproof?" I sang. My voice even shocked me. "Everybody goes through break-ups, I know they do, but not with you. Yeah." I put the mic on the stand. "I thought that thinking 'bout you every day, that getting drunk and calling you so late. I know this wanting you is just a phase, and with a little time I'd be okay. What if I'm not strong as I think?" I started vibing with the song. "What if in two years I still can't sleep? What if I meet somebody new, and every kiss feels like I'm cheating on you? What if we made a big mistake? What if my heart never unbreaks? People move on, people let go. What if you do? What if I don't?" I took the mic off the stand and smiled. "What if whiskey makes me miss you forever? What if I go out and see you doing better than ever? Yeah. I thought that thinking 'bout you every day, that getting drunk and calling you so late. I know this wanting you is just a phase." I locked eyes with Kelly. "Maybe for you it is, but for me it ain't. What if I'm not strong as I think? What if in two years I still can't sleep? What if I meet somebody new, and every kiss feels like I'm cheating on you?" I left his gaze, but I knew he was still watching me. "What if we made a big mistake? What if my heart never unbreaks? People move on, people let go. What if you do?" I grabbed the stand and put the mic on it. "What if I don't ever stop loving you? Ever stop needing you? What if I, what if I don't ever stop going through hell that I'm going through?" The music softened a bit. "Oh, what if I, what if I don't?" The music ended and everyone cheered and clapped. I smiled. "Thank you guys."
