Logan's POV
Two months had passed and I was getting ready for my first day back. Crockett had Oaklynn ready in her car seat. "Alright," I sighed as I grabbed my go-bag and the diaper bag. "Are you sure you got everything?"
"Yeah," Crockett smiled. "You go ahead and go to work. Enjoy your first day back."
"Okay," I stated. I gave him a kiss and left the house. I drove to 51 and put my stuff in the locker room. I walked into the kitchen. "I'm back!"
"Logan!" Violet attacked me with a hug. "You're never allowed to leave me that long again."
"I guessing the floater pool didn't have a great selection," I stated.
"She hated every single one of them," Stella nodded. "Where were you? If you don't mind me asking?"
"Uhm, I was taking care of business and some wedding plans," I pointed. "Vi, did you get everything?"
"Everything is booked," Violet replied. "The only thing we need to get is our dresses."
"I booked our appointment for tomorrow,"I smiled. "A little over a month and a half away."
"Are you excited?" Violet asked.
"Yes, and you have to meet my flower girl," I nodded. "I'm seeing her tomorrow as soon as I get off."
"Awe, I bet she's so adorable," Violet replied. We worked our shift and the next morning, I was packing up my car. "Can I catch a ride with you?"
"Yeah," I nodded. "How'd you get to work?"
"Carver," Violet shrugged. I looked at her. "Don't ask."
"I'm not," I replied. "Come on." We got in my car and I drove us to Med. We walked in. "Hey, Mags."
"Hey," Maggie smiled. "Crockett's in surgery if you want to wait."
"Oh, it's okay," I nodded. "Just tell him I got Oaklynn."
"You got it," Maggie replied.
"Who's Oaklynn?" Violet asked as we walked into the daycare. "A kid you met here?"
"This is Oaklynn," I smiled, picking up my daughter. "She's only two months old."
"She's got your eyes," Violet stated.
"I would hope so," I replied. She looked at me. "I was pregnant with her."
"What? Why didn't you tell us?" Violet asked.
"I didn't need the sympathy if I were to lose her," I nodded. "She was a high risk pregnancy."
"Hey," Crockett walked in. "I came down as soon as Maggie paged me."
"You were in surgery," I stated.
"I'm going to come down and say goodbye to my daughter and my fiancée before you leave," Crocket smiled. "What are you guys going to be doing today?"
"Okay, I'll go wait in the car," Violet nodded.
"Wait," I stated, but she was already gone. "Uhm, we're going dress shopping for the wedding."
"Okay," Crockett nodded. "Make sure to use the card that Violet still has."
"I need to get that back from her," I pointed. "Thanks. I gotta go." I gave him a quick kiss and he gave one to Oaklynn. I grabbed her diaper bag from the shelf. "See you later." I walked out and got Oaklynn into her carseat. I got in and started the car. I looked at Violet. "What the hell, Vi?"
"Sorry," Violet stated. "I had to get out of there."
"Look, I'm not gonna push," I replied. "Just tell me you need air next time."
