Logan's POV
Another 4 months flew by. I woke up, and got ready for work. I walked into the living room, very happy. "Good morning, world," I smiled.
"Oh, you seem happy today," Jay smiled.
"Yeah, well, we got a new place, perfect for us," I nodded as I grabbed a bottle of orange juice. "I have enough room for all my stuff, but we still need more furniture."
"I'm the one without a bed," Jay smiled.
"I know, and I did tell you I could take the couch so you could have your bed back," I replied. "You politely declined." There was a knock on the door. "I'll see you tomorrow morning." I opened the door. "Hey, baby."
"Happy anniversary," Crockett handed me a bouquet of blue to white calla lilies. "Are you ready to head to work?"
"Yeah," I smiled.
"Do you want me to vase those lilies?" Jay asked.
"Please," I smiled as I handed him the bouquet. "Thank you." Crockett and I got into his truck and he started driving. "I told you we'll start spending more time together."
"I wasn't expecting you to move in across the street from me," Crockett smiled.
"We were going to move closer to the firehouse, but they didn't have any openings," I replied. We got to the firehouse and I gave him a kiss. "Sorry we're not able to celebrate property today."
"That's okay," Crockett smiled. "We can celebrate tomorrow."
"I love you," I giggled. I got out of the truck and walked inside. I dropped my go-bag in my locker and went to the kitchen. "Hey, guys!"
"Someone's in a happy mood," Violet replied.
"I'm fully moved into my new place and it's my one year with Crockett," I nodded. "What's not to be happy about?"
"Why are you here on your anniversary date?" Stella asked. "I would've taken furlough."
"Uhm, between apartment hunting and making time, I forgot," I pointed, "but it's okay."
"Because you can always celebrate later," Kelly stated.
"Exactly, and he's actually okay with that," I smiled.
"Sounds like a match made in heaven," Kelly rolled his eyes.
"You should be happy for her," Violet smiled. "She's been happy for a year. I say that's an accomplishment."
"It is," I smiled. Night came and I was taking my nap. Violet woke me up. "Girl, I am getting too old for pranks in the middle of the night." I sat up and she was holding a red rose. "This better not be an attempt to help you with Carver."
"No," Violet smiled as I stood up. She handed me the rose. "Take this rose as a symbol of our first month together. A month of smiles."
"Vi, what's going on?" I asked.
