I really liked Iris's character the first two seasons. She was the sisterly presence for Barry and was his best friend. I think that when she became his wife, she was just used as the leader of S.T.A.R Labs for no reason. I mean she was a good reporter who wanted to spread the truth, but knew how to keep a secret. She's a half decent leader and all, but we all know Cisco was supposed to take over as leader of S.T.A.R Labs. She's great at giving Barry extra motivation when he's in the thick of the battle, but nothing else. She just doesn't bring enough to the team to be the leader. In all I think she was a great reporter, but a lead team leader, just wished she could've stayed a reporter.
