The next morning, the group woke up to the sound of the TV blaring again. Jin, who had fallen asleep on the couch with a pillow over his head, groaned and tried to pull the pillow tighter around his ears. "Can someone please turn that off?"
"I'll get it," Taehyung mumbled, rubbing his eyes as he shuffled over to the TV. But before he could reach it, the screen flickered and the volume suddenly dropped to a whisper.
"Did you guys see that?" Jungkook asked, his voice laced with unease.
"See what?" Hoseok replied, yawning as he sat up and stretched.
"The screen," Jungkook said, pointing at the TV. "It... flickered. And not in a normal way."
Y/n, who was already in the kitchen trying to make coffee with their brand-new, hopefully non-cursed coffee maker, peeked her head out and frowned. "What do you mean 'not in a normal way'?"
Jungkook opened his mouth to explain, but before he could, the TV flickered again, this time showing a brief image of a dark, shadowy figure. It was there for only a split second before the screen went black.
"Okay, I definitely saw that," Yoongi said, his eyes narrowing at the now-blank screen.
Jin finally sat up, rubbing his face as he looked around. "What now? Another villain?"
"It didn't look like any Disney character I know," Y/n said, her hand hovering over the power button on the coffee maker as if she was debating whether or not to turn it on.
"Maybe it's broken," Namjoon suggested, though he didn't sound convinced.
"Yeah, or maybe it's haunted," Hoseok added with a shiver.
"Great," Jimin sighed, "first the microwave, now the TV. What's next, the fridge starts talking?"
As if on cue, the TV suddenly turned back on, showing static for a moment before a familiar voice echoed through the living room.
"Magic Mirror on the wall," the voice drawled, smooth and sinister, "who's the fairest of them all?"
Y/n's eyes widened in recognition. "No way..."
"Is that...?" Jungkook started, his voice trailing off as the static on the screen cleared, revealing the darkened, ominous face of the Magic Mirror.
"Yes, it is I, the Magic Mirror," the Mirror said, its deep, resonant voice filling the room. "And it seems I've been summoned to your quaint little abode."
"Quaint?" Yoongi scoffed, crossing his arms. "That's one way to describe it."
The Magic Mirror's reflection shifted slightly, and for a moment, it seemed as though it was studying each of them with a penetrating gaze. "How amusing," it finally said. "A ragtag group of misfits, all gathered together under one roof. Tell me, what is it that you seek?"
"Uh, we weren't exactly seeking anything," Y/n said, still trying to wrap her head around the fact that they were now speaking to a literal magic mirror. "In fact, we'd prefer if you just... you know, went back to where you came from."
The Magic Mirror chuckled darkly. "Oh, but I'm afraid I can't do that, my dear. You see, I am bound to serve whoever calls upon me. And it seems someone here has done just that."
The group exchanged confused looks, each one trying to figure out who could have possibly summoned the Magic Mirror.
"Don't look at me," Jimin said, holding up his hands defensively. "I'm still trying to figure out how to use the remote."
"Wait," Namjoon said, a sudden realization dawning on him. "Could it have been one of the other villains? Ursula, maybe?"
"Or Captain Hook," Hoseok added, looking around nervously as if expecting the pirate to pop out of a closet at any moment.
