The late afternoon sun filtered gently through the curtains of Y/n's cozy living room. The new TV, a sleek and modern addition to the space, cast a warm glow over the room as it played a classic Disney film. Today, Y/n and Taehyung had decided to enjoy a peaceful viewing of *Cinderella*, a choice that seemed perfect for unwinding after a busy week.
Y/n was nestled comfortably on the couch, a blanket draped over her lap. Taehyung sat beside her, still occasionally glancing at the TV with a hint of apprehension, though he had largely relaxed since their previous scare. As Cinderella and her mice friends prepared for the ball, Taehyung found himself slowly getting absorbed in the story.
"You know," Y/n said, glancing over at Taehyung with a smile, "this movie is so charming. It's hard to believe how much has happened since we first met."
Taehyung nodded, a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. "Yeah, it's been quite a journey. But I'm glad we're here now, enjoying a nice, normal evening."
Just then, as Cinderella twirled gracefully in her magical gown, something strange caught Taehyung's eye. Behind Cinderella's flowing dress, a familiar blue figure seemed to peek out. Taehyung squinted at the screen, his heart racing.
"Y/n," he said, his voice tinged with anxiety, "is that... is that Jin?"
Y/n looked at the TV and blinked in surprise. There, behind Cinderella's gown, was Jin's unmistakable blue form as the Genie, trying to hide and looking distinctly out of place. His eyes widened in panic as he mouthed something to them.
"Y/n, help me!" Jin's voice echoed from the TV.
Before Y/n or Taehyung could react, the screen flickered and the channel automatically changed. They were now looking at a scene where Jimin was desperately swimming through a turbulent sea, mermaids in hot pursuit. Jimin's face was a mask of terror as he glanced back at the mermaids chasing him with determined expressions.
"Y/n!" Jimin's voice pierced through the screen. "Help!"
Y/n and Taehyung exchanged bewildered glances. "What on earth is going on?" Y/n muttered.
The TV screen flickered again, and the channel changed once more. This time, they saw Namjoon standing precariously on top of a tall building, his leafy Tarzan skirt fluttering in the wind. Below him, a horde of angry city-dwellers was gathering, looking up at him with confusion and irritation.
Namjoon looked at the screen and shouted, "Y/n, can you hear me?"
Before Y/n could respond, the screen changed again, showing Hoseok climbing a tree with incredible agility, a group of seven dwarfs below him, waving tiny pickaxes and looking quite agitated.
Hoseok called out, "Y/n, save me from these dwarfs!"
The screen flickered yet again, this time revealing Yoongi in the midst of a fierce battle with Thanos. The villain's powerful gauntlet glowed ominously as he clashed with Yoongi's Buzz Lightyear suit. Yoongi's face was set in grim determination, but the odds seemed insurmountable.
"Y/n, I could really use some help here!" Yoongi's voice echoed through the room.
Just as Y/n was about to panic, the screen shifted one final time, displaying Jungkook being chased by a horde of animals from The Jungle Book. The animals roared and growled as Jungkook sprinted through the jungle, swinging from the branches with his webs but the monkeys being faster than him a, his face a mix of fear and disbelief.
"Y/n, help us!" Jungkook shouted, his voice barely audible over the noise of the animals. "These Hakuna Matata will kill me!"
"We are not The Lion King! It's The Jungle Book!" The animals screeched and the TV switched off by itself.
The room fell into an eerie silence as the realization of what was happening sank in. Y/n's eyes widened in shock as she looked from one screen to another, trying to make sense of the chaos.
"What... what is happening?" Taehyung stammered, his face pale.
Y/n was at a loss for words. She could hardly believe her eyes. "I don't know. It looks like something's gone horribly wrong with the Disney universe."
Taehyung's hand instinctively reached for Y/n's, gripping it tightly. "We have to do something. We can't just leave them like this."
Y/n nodded, her mind racing as she tried to come up with a plan. "Okay, let's think. We need to figure out how to get them back to their worlds and fix whatever's causing this."
Taehyung nodded, his usual anxiety replaced by determination. "Let's start by checking the connections. Maybe something's wrong with the TV."
As Y/n and Taehyung scrambled to check the cables and settings, the TV screen continued to flicker between scenes of their friends in distress. The sight of Jin, Jimin, Namjoon, Hoseok, Yoongi, and Jungkook in such dire straits only fueled their urgency.
"We need to find out why this is happening," Y/n said, her voice resolute. "There has to be a reason why they're all stuck in these messed-up versions of their worlds."
Taehyung nodded, his mind racing. "Maybe it's a malfunction. Or maybe there's someone—or something—behind this."
As they continued to troubleshoot the TV, Y/n's phone buzzed with a new message. She glanced at it and saw a notification from an unfamiliar number. The message read: "Help me fix this, or the chaos will only get worse."
Y/n's heart skipped a beat. "Taehyung, look at this. I think someone might be behind all of this."
Taehyung frowned, his gaze shifting from the screen to the phone. "Who could it be? And how do they know about this?"
Y/n tapped on the message, trying to see if there were any clues. "There's no contact information, just this message. We need to figure out who sent it and why."
Just then, the TV flickered one last time, and the screen went black. The room fell into a tense silence as Y/n and Taehyung stared at the now-dark TV. The absence of their friends' distressing images left an unsettling void.
"I guess we've got our work cut out for us," Taehyung said, his voice tinged with frustration. "We need to fix this and make sure everyone is safe."
Y/n nodded, her determination unwavering. "Agreed. We'll figure this out, Taehyung. We have to."
As they began to investigate further, the TV suddenly buzzed back to life. But instead of showing their friends, it displayed a familiar face—a face they had seen before but hadn't expected to see again: Syndrome, the villain from The Incredibles.
"Hello, Y/n," Syndrome's voice came through the screen, dripping with malice. "It's nice to see you again. I see you're still dealing with your Disney problems."
Y/n's eyes widened in shock. "Syndrome! You're behind this?"
Syndrome's image smirked. "You're not as dumb as you look. Yes, I've been pulling the strings, making sure your friends end up in all sorts of trouble. And it's not over yet."
Taehyung's fists clenched. "What do you want, Syndrome?"
Syndrome's grin widened. "Oh, just a little chaos and confusion. You see, when you're dealing with the Disney universe, there's always room for a bit of fun. But if you want to fix things, you'll need to play my game."
Y/n's heart pounded. "What game? What do we have to do?"
Syndrome's image flickered. "You'll find out soon enough. But for now, enjoy the show. And remember, the clock is ticking."
With that, Syndrome's image vanished, leaving Y/n and Taehyung staring at the blank screen in shock. The reality of their situation was beginning to sink in.
"It's Disney again," Taehyung said, his voice steady despite the fear in the girl's face in front of him while Y/n continued,
"Disney but Gone Wrong."
