Months had passed since Taehyung and the rest of the Disney crew had made their dramatic exit from Y/n's life, leaving behind memories that were equal parts chaotic and heartwarming. Life had settled into a sort of rhythm for Y/n and Beomgyu, though the absence of Jin, Jimin, Namjoon, Yoongi, Jungkook, and Hoseok left a noticeable void.
Y/n missed her friends dearly. The days felt emptier without Jimin's playful banter, Yoongi's dry humor, and Jin's over-the-top theatrics. She found herself reminiscing about their adventures, often laughing at the absurdity of it all. Even Beomgyu had picked up on the frequent mentions of her former housemates, teasing her about her "Disney addiction."
One evening, as Y/n scrolled through her phone, watching clips of her old friends and their zany adventures, Taehyung watched her with a mixture of curiosity and concern. His anxiety had reached new heights ever since Y/n had mentioned the idea of buying a new TV.
"What are you watching?" Taehyung asked, his voice tinged with suspicion.
Y/n glanced up from her phone, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Just some old videos. I'm catching up on Jungkook's new movie. He's in 'Avengers: Civil War,' and I really want to see it."
Taehyung's eyes widened, and he took a cautious step back. "Wait, you're watching videos on your phone? What if it's a portal? What if it tries to suck me back into it?"
Y/n chuckled, shaking her head. "Taehyung, it's just a phone. It's not going to pull you into a portal or anything."
Taehyung still looked skeptical. "But what if it does? What if the screen suddenly goes all glowy and I get sucked in like last time?"
Beomgyu, who had been lounging on the couch and listening to their conversation, rolled his eyes. "Taehyung, relax. Y/n's phone is not a portal. Besides, if it were, I think she'd have figured it out by now."
Taehyung frowned, crossing his arms. "You never know. Those kinds of things have a way of sneaking up on you. I still don't trust TVs or phones."
Y/n sighed, clearly exasperated. "Okay, okay. No more phone portal talk. How about we focus on something more positive?"
Beomgyu perked up. "What's on your mind, Y/n?"
Y/n took a deep breath, as if bracing herself for a big announcement. "I've decided to buy a new TV."
Taehyung's eyes grew even wider, and he stumbled back as if the words had physically knocked him. "A new TV? Are you out of your mind? What if more villains come out, or worse, what if I get sucked back in?"
Beomgyu looked puzzled. "Uh, Y/n, are you sure about this? Didn't we have a whole thing about avoiding TVs?"
Y/n nodded firmly. "Yes, I'm sure. I want to watch Jungkook's new movie, and the old TV was on the fritz anyway. Besides, I've made sure that this new TV is completely safe. No villains allowed."
Taehyung was not convinced. "But what if it's a trick? What if this is just the start of a new disaster?"
Y/n shook her head, trying to stifle a laugh. "Taehyung, I promise you, nothing bad is going to happen. I'm being extra careful. Besides, Beomgyu and I will be here to keep an eye on things."
Taehyung still looked unconvinced, but he grudgingly agreed to let Y/n go ahead with her purchase. "Fine. But if anything weird happens, I'm holding you responsible."
A few days later, Y/n and Beomgyu were at the electronics store, excitedly picking out the new TV. Taehyung avoided going to a shop filled with TVs because of his TV-phobia. Beomgyu was more focused on the sales and discounts, while Y/n was fixated on the size of the screen and its resolution.
