Scar pov:

As we all pitched in to clean up the redstone dust, I noticed something odd amidst the chaos. It wasn’t until we had to move several shelves to clear the area that I saw it—a small, inconspicuous button hidden behind one of the shelves. The room was still shrouded in a thick layer of red dust, making everything more challenging.

We worked diligently, with Mumbo and Grian dusting off surfaces while Xisuma and Etho sorted through the mess. BDubs and I moved shelves and larger items, gradually revealing the hidden button. The red dust clung to everything, making it harder to find and press the button.

Once we finally located it, it proved difficult to press due to the buildup of dust and grime. I had to clean the area around it carefully, scraping away the debris before finally pressing the button. There was a soft, mechanical click, and a hidden panel slid open from the wall. The sound of gears shifting echoed through the room, adding to the already whimsical atmosphere.

Inside the hidden compartment, I found a bunch of fabric and something harder. Pulling it out, I discovered it was a space suit, similar to Xisuma's but in red and white. As the suit emerged from the compartment, Xisuma gasped in shock. Though his helmet concealed his expression, the intensity of his reaction was clear. Grian, too, was visibly taken aback. His eyes widened, and without a word, he snatched the helmet from my hands.

"EX...." Grian mumbled, his voice trembling slightly as he hugged the helmet tightly to his chest. The red and white suit seemed to stir a deep emotional response from him.

Xisuma, his voice edged with both surprise and urgency, asked, "You knew him?" His tone conveyed a mix of confusion and concern, though his face remained hidden behind the helmet. The room fell silent as everyone awaited Grian's response.

Grian's grip on the helmet tightened as he struggled to find the right words. "I... I knew someone who wore a suit like this. He was important to me." His voice was thick with emotion, and he glanced at Xisuma with a look of profound recognition.

Xisuma took a step closer, his curiosity piqued. "What do you know about him?" he asked, his voice softening.

Grian looked down at the helmet, his grip tightening as he spoke, "I know he was taken off the planet. He was kidnapped. The Watchers are in space, and they just take people, leaving no trace of them behind. They even wipe their memories of family and friends, like they never existed."

His voice wavered with the weight of the revelation, and the room grew even quieter, the gravity of his words sinking in. Xisuma took a step closer, his usual calm demeanor now tinged with a mixture of shock and concern.

"They wipe their memories?" Xisuma asked, the implications of Grian's words hanging heavily in the air.

Grian nodded slowly, his eyes never leaving the helmet in his hands. "Yeah... they make sure no one remembers who they were or where they came from. It’s like they erase them from existence, leaving nothing behind but empty spaces where they used to be."

The realization seemed to hit everyone at once. Etho, who had been quietly observing, finally spoke up. "Is there any way to get them back? To recover their memories?"

Grian hesitated, then shook his head. "I don't know... I’ve never heard of anyone coming back with their memories intact. It’s like they’re just... gone."

BDubs, ever the optimist, chimed in. "But you remembered him, right? There must be some way—some connection."

Grian’s expression softened slightly, though sadness still lingered in his eyes. "I don’t know why I remember him, or if I even truly do. Maybe it’s just fragments—pieces that slipped through the cracks. But seeing this suit... it brought back everything I’d tried to forget."
